    Description

We are living near the riverbed in the beautiful Guadalfeo Valley in southern Spain – a place with a unique and inspiring history. Since the 1970s to 1990s, this area has attracted people from all over the world who were searching for alternative ways of living. The legendary Dragon Festivals made the valley internationally known and created a space for community, creativity, and new ideas.

That spirit is still alive today. In the surrounding area, a well-known Dula school has developed, along with various projects focused on off-grid living, natural building (such as clay construction), yurts, and other sustainable lifestyles.

Our small project is centered around simple, nature-connected living. We share our home with rescued animals: a donkey from the Alpujarra, two dogs, and several cats. Caring for them and creating a peaceful, grounded place is an important part of what we do.

We are happy to welcome open-minded people who feel drawn to this kind of lifestyle and would like to be part of it for a while.

It’s a private space where you can relax and have your own rhythm, while still being close enough to share moments together if you like.

  • Help

    Help

We’re happy about support in different areas around our place – everything is pretty balanced, so there’s no single main task, but rather a mix depending on what’s needed and what you enjoy.

This can include spending time with and helping care for our animals, working in the garden (creating or maintaining areas, planting, etc.), or supporting us with small diy projects.

Right now, we’re especially working on things like:

    a clay house (natural building)

    simple wooden structures

    fences and general outdoor projects

We usually ask for around 2–3 hours of help per day, and we try to keep things flexible and relaxed. It’s important to us that it feels like a fair exchange and that you also have enough time to enjoy the place and your own rhythm.

You don’t need to have experience in any of these areas – if you enjoy being outdoors, using your hands, and learning by doing, you’ll fit in well here.

We usually share some meals, but you’ll also have the possibility to cook for yourself. We try to keep everything simple, relaxed, and based on mutual respect.

In exchange, we ask for around 2–3 hours of help per day, leaving you plenty of time to explore the area, enjoy nature, or just slow down.
