    Description

Hi workawayers! My husband and I live with our 3 teenage sons on a beautiful 9 acre property in Ashton, Adelaide Hills. We love our hills lifestyle and living amongst the trees, birds and native animals. However, we welcome some help with the upkeep of our property. Tasks include gardening, general property cleanup, clearing fallen branches and chopping firewood. Also caring for our 2 alpacas and other general maintenance tasks. We would also like to build a fox proof enclosure so we can get chooks again and allow them to roam free safely. In exchange we can offer a self contained unit on the property (double bedroom, full kitchen, living room, laundry) and access to our pool and hot tub. The unit is very private and has its own entrance but also adjoins the main house. Workawayers are welcome to use our home gym and recreation area including table tennis, darts and PS4. We would love to you to share in our evening meals in the main house, but you are also welcome to eat in the privacy of the unit when you would prefer some space. There is no public transport but we have 4 drivers in the family who are frequently going through the hills or into the city, and happy to drive you to Adelaide which is only 20 minutes away. Our property is home to kangaroos, koalas, kookaburras (and many other birds), frogs, alpacas and our golden retriever, Tully. Also, I love to cook and bake and will keep you well fed! We have hosted exchange students in the past and enjoy having international guests and showing them our part of the world 😊
