    Description

I’m a nurse living in a spacious two-bedroom apartment in beautiful North Vancouver with my two one-year-old cats, Fern and Wanda. Fern is full of energy and very playful, she loves to play fetch! Wanda is more chill vibes and loves to cuddle. I love travelling and the outdoors, and I’m looking for a reliable cat lover to stay at my place and keep them company while I’m away.

The apartment is in a great central location, close to transit for easy access into Vancouver, and just steps from local trails and hiking. Perfect if you enjoy both city exploring and nature.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Vancouver is an amazing place to be in the summer, especially if you enjoy the outdoors. There are endless opportunities for hiking, swimming, kayaking, and exploring the nearby mountains and coastline, along with lots of festivals, markets, concerts, and other outdoor events happening throughout the city.

Staying in North Vancouver also gives you easy access to both nature and the city, making it a great base for experiencing the West Coast lifestyle.

    Help

Responsibilities are fairly straightforward and mostly involve keeping Fern and Wanda happy and comfortable while I’m away. They are strictly indoor cats, so it’s important that doors/windows are kept secure and they are not let outside.

Their litter box should be scooped once daily, their automatic feeder topped up as needed, and they each get one serving of wet food per day. They’re both young, playful cats and enjoy attention, playtime, and company.

    Accommodation

The accommodation is a spacious and comfortable two-bedroom apartment in North Vancouver with plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring. There is one king-sized bed, one double bed, and a pull-out queen sofa bed.

The apartment has a large TV with access to streaming subscriptions, reliable Wi-Fi, and a fully equipped kitchen. I also have an e-bike available for use, which is a great way to explore the local area and nearby trails.

The location is very convenient — close to transit, shops, restaurants, and easy access to both downtown Vancouver and the North Shore mountains/trails.
