Near the lodge we have a room with independent access, this room has a batwoom 5 meters away and it has a nice warm shower. The kitchen is a bit further, but you will never cook with such a nice view!
You will probably share the room with one more volunteer or if there is availability you can also use one of the rooms from the Lodge :)
Your help at the kitchen is always welcome sometimes we cook for the whole staff, sharing food and experiences, and sometimes you can enjoy cooking your own favorite meal. This is depending on the occupancy of the lodge and how busy are the permanent staff. We provide ingredients and you can also bring your favorite ones to complete your taste and healthy meal, we provide trasnportation to/from the city to go for groceries.
The most important for us is workawayers will be happy and enjoy staing here, the amount of working hours or if we offer a delicios food or not is not the most important thing. What else ...
Puno is the Folklore capital of Peru, there are a lot of festivities going during the year, the most important is a catholic festivity of Virgin Candelaria.
There are many interesting towns and villages arround the Titicaca lake you can visit on your free time.
