I am a 29 years old engineer originally from Spain and now based in Mannheim. I have lived in this area of Germany for the last 5 years and I am quite passionate about the possibilities it can offer. I am in the process of launching a small startup project and would like to host an engineer or a couple of engineers - or anyone with coding skills - to support me in this exciting moment.
My girlfriend and partner is working on her own project related to language learning and fitness and also looking for someone that can teach her German and/or Italian. Therefore if you are not into coding and engineering, perhaps you want to be helping her instead!
We are proposing a schedule of 4h per day, 5 days a week but this can be discussed if the workawayer needs something different, we are happy to be flexible. We would like to host someone that can offer fresh ideas - on top of language or coding skills - and would be thrilled to help this person in their own career.
I am providing the workawayer with confortable accomodation in a shared room*️️️️️, half board every volunteering day (breakfast and dinner, as I will be away at lunch time) and of course endless tea and coffee.
*️️️️️We live in a three room flat with lots of natural light. The rooms are organized as follows: 1.- Main bedroom, where my girlfriend and I sleep. 2.- Office room. 3.- Living room. You would sleep in our comfy sofa bed in the living room, and of course you would be the only person sleeping there. In this room there is also a TV and a laptop area. I mark the room as "shared" because during the day we would still like to use the room as living room :)
Besides the volunteering tasks and provided that the workawayer does not prefer to visit independently, we will of course integrate him/her in our circle of friends, organize some nice party plans for the weekend and possibly bring him/her to Frankfurt and other nice villages and towns surrounding this area. My girlfriend and I are very active "tourists" and always welcome joiners.
We speak English, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese and can support you learning these languages as well.
Please feel free to email me any questions you might have!

We speak English, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese and if you speak Italian or Romanian we can surely understand you (a bit!). We can support you learning languages, we will integrate you in our circle of friends, organize some nice party plans for the weekend and take you to some of the nice villages and towns surrounding Mannheim and Frankfurt city. We used to live in Frankfurt and we still go there once a week, you can come with us. My girlfriend and I are very active "tourists" and always welcome joiners.
Needless to say that if you prefer to visit places independently that's your call :)
I am looking forward to hosting an engineer or a couple of engineers - or anyone with coding skills - to support me in a new startup project. I have recently started this project with some friends and we are growing new ideas every day :)

I propose a volunteering schedule of 4h per day, 5 days a week but this can be discussed if the workawayer needs something different (if your are traveling around and prefer to have more than two days free per week that works for me). I would be happy to host someone that can offer fresh ideas and would be thrilled to help this person in their own career.

Comfy sofa bed in the living room (the living room will be for your private use at night time and turn back into a living room during day time), shared bathroom and shared kitchen. The living room is spacious and there is a TV that you are welcome to use. We would like to make sure you are at ease. We will provide you with wifi connection and fresh linen and towels. We provide you with breakfast and dinner during your volunteering days (3, 4 or 5 days per week depending on your preference) and you are very welcome to cook and use the kitchen in your free days.
Mannheim is a vibrant city but not so big as to become overwhelming for the new arrivals. When you come we will pick you up at the station. We can also provide you with a map and a list of suggestions for your free time. You might also want to check the link below:
