  Description

  We live in Deux-Sèvres at the crossroads of the 4 cities (Charente, Charente Maritime, Deux-Sèvres and Vienne). We live with our two cats Princesse and Adibou in an old building that we have restored through the years. We have a big horse called Idole and a donkey : Justine. The house is in a small village in the middle of the forest where you can go for a walk or ride a bike . There is a lot of traditional "poitevine" houses and roman architecture.
  We are on two projects: The restoration of our dwelling house and that of a water mill dating from the 16th century century.
  The purpose of the restoration of the mill is to make it work, as well as the sawmill and the nut press which are annexed to it.
  We also need help all year long with our garden.
  Christian is a cabinetmaker, and would be delighted to share his technical knowledge with you, as well as myself, who would be happy to exchange culinary knowledge (I am a cook)
  
  Nous vivons dans les Deux-Sèvres au carrefour des 4 Départements (Charente, Charente Maritime, Deux-Sèvres et Vienne). Nous vivons avec nos deux chats Princesse et Adibou dans une maison que nous avons restaurée. La maison est dans un petit village au milieu de la forêt. Dans cette région, il y a beaucoup de maisons traditionnelles poitevines et de bâtiments d'architecture romane. Les environs sont très beaux et vous pouvez y faire des balades ou vous promenez à vélo.
  Nous sommes actuellement sur deux projets : La restauration de notre maison d'habitation et celle d'un moulin à eau datant du XVIe siècle. Nous avons aussi besoin d'aide toute l'année dans le jardin.
  
  Le but de la restauration du moulin est de le faire fonctionner, ainsi que la scierie et le pressoir à noix qui sont annexés à celui-ci.
  
  Christian est menuisier ébéniste, et serait ravi de partager ses connaissances techniques avec vous, ainsi que moi-même, qui serais heureuse d'échanger des connaissances culinaires (Je suis cuisinière).

  A bedroom and a private bathroom are available. Meals are taken with us. It is possible to pick you up in Poitiers or Niort, which are the largest cities in the region.
