Description
I hope you could help me to continue to renovating my old house (1753) this year and I need help, général maintenance, gardening, meal preparation, painting, artist painting also, plasterboard ,... or something we'll find usefull. Very often, I stay at my girlfriend house, 5 km away. So perhaps you'll stay with me to help with gardening, general maintenance, pait,... I live in a little village near the forest. I am a native-born Belgian who has lived in France since 2011. I have green house but my garden is always plenty of weeds.
I ama father of 3 boys (34, 32 and 30 years old). They live in Belgium and occasionally in the Vosges in my home.
I experienced workaway life as a worker in Scotland in July 2018.
I make sometimes my bread. I have my own source of pure water.
I am a member of an association that maintains an old saw mill.
In order to show you how it works, I would demonstrate it to you by cutting 1 wooden board.

I try to to grow vegetables through a greenhouse made with big branches of hazel and next door, a vegetable garden (cabbages, salads and lot of weeds !! )
the railway station of Saint-Dié-des-Vosges is not far from my house. I can fetch you there, or if you have your own car, it is a 10 minute drive. You can take a bus or train to Nancy or Strasbourg, and from there it is an hour ride to Saint-Die-des-Vosges, very easy.

Such a very good experiment with Malvin and Hasiq.
They are very good guys, with a lot of humour. But they can work very hard even if the work is a little bit painful (nettles). They cooked me very fine meal of their country, spicy and very nice.

My first workaway couldn't have been better! Guy is a very coo guy and a great cook. I stayed with him for two weeks, helping him around the house. He helped me practice French and taught me how to play 421 and to bake bread. I had a really great time and hope to visit again some day.

My boyfriend Jori and I stayed with Guy for 10 days and had a wonderful time! There were bicycles for us to use in our free time and beautiful surroundings easy to acces. Guy was accommodating and kind. There was always plenty to do for everyone, and the food was great!
