    Description

    Welcome!

I am Maté, and I'm on a mission to create a unique space where like-minded individuals can come together to enjoy nature, co-create, and grow organic food while embracing remote work. My vision is to build a thriving community of passionate makers and nature enthusiasts, but for now, I am the sole founder and driving force behind the project.

I have lived in ten different countries, travelling around the World looking for the perfect place to settle. I have been working in startups, always focusing on projects that have positive impact, social enterprises. I am excited to create a place for people to connect with nature, express their creativity through building, creating art, growing, creating an idyllic place for others to enjoy and work remotely from.

The project is in its early stages, and I'm excitedly working on multiple projects, including building glamping tents and tiny houses, as well as renovating a charming stone building. With the help of future volunteers like you, I hope to bring this vision to life and foster a vibrant community.

At the moment, we're offering basic facilities such as hot running water, compost toilets, electricity, and a cozy glamping tent (including bed, mattress & bedding) for accommodation.

The ongoing projects include: renovation of the house, building facilities around our forest, trail building, farming, gardening, planting trees etc.

I'm thrilled to welcome volunteers who are passionate about engaging in these creative activities and have skills with tools and growing food.

What's available around is truly breathtaking – hours of pristine hiking paths, absolute peace and quiet, and two streams crossing our lands, perfect for refreshing dips on hot days.

If you share my vision for are eager to be part of this exciting journey, I can't wait to meet you! Together, let's create a haven that celebrates nature, skill-sharing, and personal growth.

Asa bonus, I, Maté, have experience working and co-founding multiple startups. If you're interested in technology, I'm here to support your growth by offering guidance in programming, design, project management, and more.

Join me, and let's bring this inspiring vision to life!

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

Currently there are two spots available, a large glamping tent or a mezzanine inside the house where work is still happening. Since the project has recently started, there is not much in terms of accomodations, but it's safe, warm and cozy, there's warm shower and a kitchen that has everything necessary to live.

    What else ...

besides it's surrounding wilderness, streams, forests, mountains, is near the coast where you can find the most beautiful (quiet) beaches, spots for snorkeling and surfing. We're part of a large community of expats, and we always organise some interesting events. There's a guitar and a bike available to use.
