    Description

, Hello from Arafo, Tenerife 🌿

We are Simon, Axelle, our 2-year-old daughter Lili, and Bongo, our lovely dog.

We are a Belgian-French family speaking both French and English, and some Spanish as well. After 12 years working as humanitarian workers around the world, we decided it was time to settle down in a peaceful and beautiful place surrounded by nature.

We created our home in Tenerife with a lot of love and care. Our house is nestled in nature with breathtaking views of the mountains and the ocean. We love simple things: traveling, music, meaningful conversations, spending time with people, nature, and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Simon works as a carpenter and is constantly creating and improving projects in and around the house, while Axelle works remotely. We still travel from time to time, and we are looking for trustworthy, respectful people who would enjoy this peaceful lifestyle and feel happy living close to nature.

We love sharing our little paradise with open-minded and kind people who appreciate calm places, animals, and simple living.

    Looking forward to meet you!
    Simon, Axelle, Lili & Bongo

🌿 URGENT – Dog Sitting & House Care in Tenerife (Couples Welcome)

    Available: ASAP
Important dates: From May 28th for around 10 days (trip to Belgium)

We are urgently looking for a trustworthy and caring person (or couple) to stay at our home in Arafo, Tenerife, mainly to take care of our dog Bongo while we are away.

Bongo is truly the priority ❤️ He is part of our family, and we are looking for someone loving, responsible, and present who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals.

The other tasks are very light:
    • Small daily gardening (mainly watering and removing a few weeds so the garden doesn’t become a jungle 🌱)
    • Feeding our chickens properly every day 🐓
    • General care of the house and outdoor space

The workload is honestly very small — around 1 hour to 1h30 maximum per day — but consistency and care are important to us.

We deeply love our home and garden, and we are really looking for respectful people who will treat the place with care and kindness while we are away. The most important thing for us is to feel that Bongo, the chickens, and the house are in good hands when we travel.

    What we offer:
    • A comfortable private studio with kitchen and bathroom
    • A peaceful place surrounded by nature with incredible mountain and ocean views
We do not provide food as the work is very small
Pick up or lift when when we are there to the nearest bus station
    • Flexibility and a relaxed atmosphere
    • Help discovering the island during free time when possible

Please contact us if you are reliable, autonomous, nature-loving, and truly comfortable with animals and peaceful living.

Looking forward to meeting you 🌞
