    Description

    I am looking for musical. household help for an elder man and his dog for a few weeks or a month at a time.

    We need help with gardening, meals preparation, dog walks, and light building duties. We want to hear your music too!

    People come here from all over the world to visit the West Coast. The Vancouver apartment is cycling distance to the scenic waterfront downtown, parks, and islands. The public transportation is excellent. The Vancouver apartment sits beside the beautiful Britannia Recreation Centre (swimming pool, skating rink, library), and leads to the Commercial Drive area (coffee shops, parks) of Vancouver.
    There is a second site on the Sunshine Coast where we need similar help- garden, meals, dog walks, light building, and music, and we visit there each 2 weeks.

    I'm asking guests to help 4 hours per day, including lunch break, for 5 days a week. Saturday, Sunday are free time (meals provided). We try to have fun, and I don't overwork anyone.

    The Vancovuer apartment has a small, single alcove, with a single bed (additional mattress on the floor, if needed) and screens for privacy. The apartment has an outdoor patio and work space, living room, bathroom, kitchen, which you may share.
    A small, friendly dog lives here too.
    Musicians welcome!
    The second site is a cabin with a downstairs cot and bed upstairs and outdoor toilet.

    Vancouver is a world class city with parks and beautiful scenery. The waterfront is a 15 minute bicycle ride away on a dedicated bike route. The city has funky cafes, second hand shops, and recreation centres which need reservations to use. Many young people enjoy the arts scene in Vancouver.
