  Hello there!
  We are a family with two kids (daughter 2014, son 2017). We live in Ostende, Belgium, at sthe sea.
  We are a German/Dutch family with two kids (daughter 2014, son 2017) and we're looking forward to meeting new people and like to meet people who have a like minded, open attitude towards meeting new people. We like to learn French.
  
  In July and August the beach in front of our house has some festivals, therefor, the view is sometimes like with the pink circustent picture we added. We live directly at this beach and the little harbour. Gorgeous views!

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  We are a German/Dutch family living in Belgium. We homeschool our kids. The kids ride a horse once a week, welcome to come and see a bit of country side. We all play archery on Sunday where you could join as well. During colder periods we go climbing mostly once or twice a week. In the summer we spend a lot of time at the beach. We like to kite as well. The kids love skating.
  We are native German & Dutch. Also, we speak English.
  We hope for a really warm, open exchange of culture.

  Help

  We could use some help with the day to day chores. For example cooking. It would be super nice if you would be happy to make time for the kids to learn French through activities such as sports, crafts and playing games. Or maybe have an interesting hobby in which you would like to include them, that would also be nice.
  And we would love it if you are sensitve like we are. Our family needs that, its really requiered.

  This host offers a language exchange
  Love languages. We are especially interested in a language exchange in French. Not through books but through meeting new people and exchange about life and interests we have. The language exchange is mainly for the children so they can learn French which is requiered for their education. It would be important to us that you engage in a natural flow contact through things as arts, sports and crafts.

  Accommodation

  We live in a an appartment with a sea stunning view.
  We have a room where you can sleap in a normal one person bed. It´s also a bed which can be a two person bed but then we have exchange the normal matress for an air matress to make it fit.

  What else ...

  In your time off there is off course the beach. Ostend offers a small city center, musea, a cinema and seals! Yes, seals! You can spot them most days at the beach nearby.

  Please know, working as a digital nomad is possible but this is a household with children, we play and they also make music. Life is vibrant.

  We could welcome someone with a small/medium dog. Important is that it is super child friendly and that he/she will not hunt our animals. The chicken tend to break free on a daily basis ;)
