    Hi everyone!!

    Only paid position is offered !!

    Will need help in the months of October-November-December with olive harvesting. It's a physical work so take that into consideration. 8h 5 days work 2 off. Check some videos of olive harvesting to get an idea.
    Take some clothes that you don't mind getting dirty by working in an olive field.

    2 members will be working in the kitchen to cook for the team.

    Minimum time of stay : 1 month

    You can choose between 8 h per day 5 days/week with 2 days off or 6.5h per day 6days/week with 1 day off.
    You get free accommodation in a private tent with mattreses sheets and blankets.
    Also the food is included.

    To travel here from Tirana there is buses that start around 8-9 am and latest 1pm from the South main station across Casa Italia in Tirana. The cost of travel is around 12 euros or 1200lek (4h trip).
    You pay cash once you are in the bus as you can't buy tickets online.

    This private property is within an IUCN protected area so waste management is crucial for the whole area. We will need to clean the canyon path,the beach and road from the beach to the monastery.We will collect any plastic and metal left after the summer season.

    Most visitors are travellers from around the world so you will be able to have a multicultural exchange during the time staying here.You could learn part of the local history and see the way of life in the south.You can visit and observe the old architecture used for the construction of stone buildings like old churches,houses of Vuno and Ilias village. The hikes to the villages are approximately 1 hour.

    You could learn Albanian language or some other languages depending on what nationality are the people living here at the time.
    Socializing in the group of volunteers it is a way to get to know each other and exchange valuable information about traveling around the world and in Albania aswell .

    You could visit the nearby villages (Unesco protected) or go climbing-hiking in the canyon and swimming at the beach relax at the camping area etc.At Vuno village you will find some old reconstructed churches or ruins in some cases.These churches will be funded from us to get rebuilt-reconstructed & maintained helping this way in the rehabilitation of Vuno cultural heritage.
    There used to be around 20 family owned small churches in function many years ago.
    You could also try to visit by hiking along the coast,Jale or Dhermi beach.You can explore a famous historical sea cave(Shpella e Pirateve-Pirates Cave) or the one on the Pigeons beach . Another place you could hike to is the old monastery of Saint Theodore up the hill,30min from the camp.
    Plenty of hiking opportunities in the area.
    Available transport are usually buses and mini buses from the main road(40-50minutes walking distance from the camp)to Himare/Sarande/Vlore/Tirane.
    In Albania you can get in an another place by hitchhiking easily.
    We have books, board games and card game like Uno or simple card deck,sometimes you can get the paddle board or canoe in your free time to visit the nearby caves and beaches.
