Description
Hi everyone!!
A big thank you to all the volunteers that helped in all the projects of this campsite and farm. This private property is within an IUCN protected area.
We try to be respectful and protective towards the environment.
Looking for people who know how to cook, are willing to help in washing sheets mattress and blankets, setting up and cleaning tents, cleaning toilets,help is needed in sewing covers for mattreses and pillows,collecting waste from the surrounding area and the campsite, collecting fruits,organizing-maintainance of camping material and working tools and help also in welcoming visitors in the season.
After 15 October we will work in olive harvesting so you are welcome to join for the experience of agricultural work.

Most visitors are travellers from around the world so you will be able to have a multicultural exchange during the time staying here.You could learn part of the local history and see the way of life in the south.Observe the old architecture used for the construction of stone buildings (churches,houses of Vuno and Ilias).
You could learn Albanian language or some other languages depending on what nationality are the people living here at the time.
Socializing in the group of volunteers it is a way to get to know each other and exchange valuable information about traveling around the world and in Albania aswell .
Help
Help is needed in daily tasks like cleaning sheets and blankets in the washing machine, setting up - cleaning and preparing tents with sheets and blankets,sewing covers for mattreses,cleaning toilets, sometimes going to the market for shopping groceries,cooking food, collecting plastic from the canyon and the whole area of the campground, the beach and the paths to the beach, putting signs,organizing camping material like tents sheets blankets etc.
Help is also needed in taking care of animals (cats dogs) to give food and water.
We also look for a car mechanic(manual transmission 4x4 pick up)so you're welcome to join us as well.

Accommodation
You will sleep in a tent equiped with mattress-sheets-blankets.
You'll have your own tent.
All meals are included but cooked from the volunteers so preferred are the ones who know how to cook.
We have showers and toilets.
Bring organic washing products if possible.
We have wifi internet at the kitchen area but you can buy Vodafone sim card and have your own internet if you prefer.
In your free time you can use a canoe to check the beaches and caves nearby.
What else ...
You could visit the nearby villages (Unesco protected) or go climbing-hiking in the canyon and swimming at the beach relax at the camping area etc.At Vuno village you will find some old reconstructed churches or ruins in some cases.These churches will be funded from us to get rebuilt-reconstructed & maintained helping this way in the rehabilitation of Vuno cultural heritage.
There used to be around 20 family owned small churches in function many years ago.
You could also try to visit by hiking along the coast,Jale or Dhermi beach.You can explore a famous historical sea cave(Shpella e Pirateve-Pirates Cave) or another one on the nearby beach . Another place you could hike to is the old monastery of Saint Theodore up the hill,30min from the camp.
Plenty of hiking opportunities in the area.
Available transport are usually buses and mini buses from the main road(40-50minutes walking distance from the camp)to Himare/Sarande/Vlore/Tirane.
In Albania you can get in an another place by hitchhiking easily.
We have books, board games and card game like Uno or simple card deck,sometimes you can get the paddle board or canoe in your free time to visit the nearby caves and beaches.

Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse a gjipe avec une equipe formidable. Mariglen et tous ceux qui etait sur place nous on régalé de gentilesse, on s'est senti comme à la maison.
