  • Description

    Hi everyone!!
A big thank you to all the volunteers that helped in all the projects since the begining of this camp site.
This season (May-October) we look for people who are willing to help in cooking, setting up tents, washing sheets, cleaning toilets, cleaning the path to the camp and the path of the canyon from waste, help in construction of wooden cabins etc.

Late October to late December we will need help for the harvesting of olives and participants will see the procedure of olive oil production in a modern olive oil factory and will also have the chance to enjoy fresh olive oil.
The olive oil production is one of the oldest agricultural traditions in the south of Albania.Participating in the proccess gives as a result the continuation of this tradition wich offers sustainable development and provides nature conservation at the same time.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Most visitors are travellers from around the world so you will be able to have a multicultural exchange during the time staying here. You could learn part of the local history, few cultural traditions, observe the old architecture used for the construction of stone buildings (churches, houses)or you could learn some of the Albanian language if so.Socializing in the group of volunteers is having a good time and it is a way to get to know stories and exchange valuable information about traveling around Albania and other places .We will try to apply as much possible self sufficient ways of living and have the lowest negative impact towards the enviroment so getting to how this can happen and participating in the process of aplying methods is beneficial aswell.
