Description
Hi, We are a young family living on a 7 acre plot in beautiful Matakana. The area is full of lush green land and has a friendly culture with white sand beaches. There is plenty to do on the land and we are looking for a pair of friends or a couple to help out with the gardening and some basic DIY projects.
We love the beach and you will always find us surfing and in the water. We are fun loving and always enjoy meeting new people having travelled extensively ourselves to many countries. We have a great guest room which is very comfortable and ready for you to stay in and enjoy the beautiful beaches, nature, local food, and lifestyle.
Ideally it is good to have a car just so you can get around easily while you are here.

Matakana is one of the best places in NZ with lots of culture. There are 2 excellent local organic markets with live music and great food on offer at lots of venues. It is a true taste of NZ beach culture and rural living.

Accommodation
Sunny 2 bedroom apartment with kitchenette, large bathroom, lounge suite, dining table and outdoor deck with a view over green paddocks and tree lined orchards.
What else ...
Great beaches for surfing and swimming. 5 minutes to Omaha beach and 15 minutes to Tawharanui National Park, a stunning place to explore walks and pristine beaches. We are not far from Goat Island Marine Reserve which is a great spot for snorkelling and scuba diving. Local markets, boutique cinema, excellent restaurants and wineries. Only an hour north of Auckland City with easy access to travel.
Good to have a car so you can get around easily.
