Description
fully organic quinta accepting meat eaters and vegetarians only NO VEGANS
Looking for at least 4 helpers who will help us together
friends/couple or single people who will have their own space for couples sharing a double bed in a private yurt with attached toilet and hot water shower and singles share a guesthouse with kitchen, bathroom, king bedroom and bunk bed room and then share the work which will include olive picking, wood collecting, animal care, digging holes for trees and whitewashing
We are looking for OLIVE PICKERS this is work in the sunshine we provide gloves and tools but you will need layers of clothes as it’s cool in the shade but can be hot in the sunshine
Then we are looking for help with a variety of tasks none of which we wouldn't be prepared to do ourselves if we had the time, all meals and snacks provided and a friendly local bar you can cycle to for your wine which is only 30c a glass
Looking for 5 olive pickers it’s work in the sunshine 🌞 as we don’t pick olives when it rains ideally a couple/group of friends as our yurt has a double bed and the cottage has 2 bedrooms one with bunk beds and the other with a king bed room
also looking for people before olive picking starts to make raised beds in our organic vegetable garden we provide all the materials we just need the help to build the beds.

We were 3 volunteers and did olive picking for about one week. After the harvest was finished we brought the olives to the press where we could see the whole process of making the oil, which we could later bottle ourselfs.

Our primary task was to pick olives, it was my first time doing that and I found it meditative and fun -- especially since we were working as a team of 5 volunteers.

I can say these days are one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.
