If you're locking for the perfect workawayer, here he is ! Thomas is kind, open minded, peaceful, easy going. He has many different skills he can use in a workaway stay : carpentry/roofing, wood work, painting... any DIY actually ! He's very efficient. And also excellent worker for physical tasks. Besides, he got very involved in the house life,

It was the best 3 weeks spent as a worker for Benjamin and Marie in France. I helped in painting the corridor, hallway and everything that I was asked. I also helped with the construction of the chicken fence. It was a wonderful experience. Although my level of English and French was not good enough, we could almost always understand each other
… read more what we wanted. I really enjoyed playing various games with Inglantin and Olyosha and spending time with the children. These are very sweet and open children and I will always miss them. I also helped Lisette with the practice of the Russian language. I hope for her success in the future, in learning the language. After spending time at Benjamin and Marie's house, I was able to experience many delicious French dishes, their food was very varied and delicious. Their house was in a wonderful place surrounded by forest, where it was pleasant to walk and spend time. Also Benjamin and Marie showed us the nearest, beautiful cities, a very beautiful castle and helped organize a weekend trip to La Rochelle.
Those were unforgettable days that I will miss. I hope that we will meet again soon:)You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

We have been very pleased to have Aleksei with us during these almost 3 weeks. It's a very kind and quiet young man. He has been involved in the family life, always willing to help around and he took good care of the children (who were SO happy to have someone to play with). Besides, he really has wonderful skills in painting (meticulousness and

He even helped our elder daughter with her russian lessons. Our only regret is that he doesn't speak english so much, which limited our conversations and prevented from a deep and true encounter. We wish him all the best for the future, as we know life is really not easy at the moment !

It was such a perfect experience for my first time in France. This family is absolutely adorable. Marie and Benjamin are welcoming, kind and very generous. And so are their kids. The whole family inculded me in their harmonic family life and in their beautiful house. I really wish I could have helped and worked a bit more.
They gave me a really

Also the kids were so lovely and friendly you can see right away that they have perfect manners and being raised in a very good way.
Their house is situated in the middle of the forest and it`s surrounded by a lot of beautiful nature, so it`s a very quiet area but the next town is around 3 kilometres away so it is always possible to walk there.
Also Marie and Benjamin will try to give you a lift to other beautiful towns such as Bazas or Langon and there is a good train connection to Bordeaux and Arcachon from there. So you can enjoy the beautiful nature or go to the Atlantic.
All in all I would highly recommand to do a workaway with them as I really had such a nice time there.
So thank you very much for that beautiful time, I hope you will find a lot of helping hands on workaway to finish the last bits of renovation in your house and I hope you will find lovely hosts on workaway for your trip next year!
You are always welcome in germany

Perfect first experience for us ! Julia was very kind, she helped a lot in the house and with the children, despite we were not very organized to give her some work... Our kids really loved her, they learned a bit of german and played with her nice dog Lissie. And she made us discover vegan food, thank you Julia, you're welcome again when you like
