    Description

We are currently working in the garden with the dry season. Our farm is located 95 km Nth of Katherine/235 km South of Darwin and 7km from township of Pine Creek in a secluded valley that was a former Chinese market garden in the gold rush days. Permanent creek/spring water & tropical fruit trees. Work varies with seasons & includes gardening, jam making, drying mango, mowing, landscaping, building maintenance and domestic duties. We hope to exchange 4 hours work for accommodation, meals and internet use. Well established tropical style living offering a choice of accommodation in s/c donga or tents (dry season). Internet available. Children by arrangement. Good food with some local game & fresh tropical fruit. NSI. Length of stay negotiable.
We have been hosts on other websites for the last 12 years. During that time we have hosted travellers from all over the globe. It is a wonderful opportunity to share cultures and philosophies.

Travellers will have the opportunity to sample a down to earth lifestyle with the experience of how to live a small footprint on the planet. Good healthy food is a very important element in our household and it is a joy to share good food and good conversation.
