    Description

    Hey there!

    I’m originally from Canada, I used to live a totally different life, one full of routines, screens, and way too much noise. At some point, I just… couldn’t do it anymore. So I packed up and moved here, to a quiet coastal village near Oualidia in Morocco, a spot known for surfing and seafood, where life moves slower, the air smells like salt and rosemary, and the sunsets are ridiculous.

    I’m building a space by the ocean and it’s still very much in progress. We’re working on simple things: a few bungalows that uses whatever’s fresh and local, a garden that feeds us, and a peaceful spot for yoga and just breathing.

    It’s not perfect, but it’s honest. Some days are messy. Some days are magic.

    I’m looking for people who are down to help (really help ) and also enjoy the process. Right now I could use the help of a :

    *We particularly welcome Workawayers with an advanced or professional culinary background who are interested in cultural and culinary exchange. We love learning recipes and techniques from different parts of the world, particularly grilling and fire-cooking techniques, and sharing our own Moroccan food traditions in return. Workawayers do not prepare food for paying guests
    * A carpenter or someone good with their hands
    * A yoga or wellness person who likes sharing quiet spaces
    * Gardeners (big time!)
    * Painters, general helpers, and people who don’t mind getting their hands dirty

    Also, if you’re a photographer, content creator, or storyteller who sees beauty in raw places, I’d love to have you.

    We are opening soon as a soft launch to gently bring life into our new coastal retreat and test the rhythm of the space before full opening.

    This is a small, family-run, private retreat located on the coast near oualidia , in a peaceful rural setting by the ocean surrounded by nature and close to surf spots. The atmosphere is quiet, grounded, and community-oriented rather than commercial.

    We are currently welcoming short and long-term residents who would like to be part of the beginning of this project and help shape its energy.

    We are looking for:

    Everything related to building, as they tag along this adventure with us. Since we were born and raised in Canada both my brother and I, we speak fluent Arabic English and French and therefore we will be able to clearly communicate, share our cultural knowledge of the region, agricultural practices, and those who are interested we can facilitate learning pottery and surfing, two major activities of the region. We’re looking for good souls that will join our team that will be part of the founding family of this retreat
