Description
We live in a beautiful coastal rainforest in British Columbia, Canada and love to share our piece of wilderness paradise. A couple with a love of travel and the outdoors (and dogs!). Our home backs onto a nature reserve with forest trails off the property for you to explore, as well Bowen has over 30 public beaches across the island. SPRING 2026: We are looking for help with the Spring property clean up, garden set up, forest and exterior house projects - mainly outdoor. We are preferable to short stays right now as our suite is under renovation, so camper or den are available for sleeping - both awesome, but not necessarily for longer stays. l

We speak English and German (and would love to learn and speak more Spanish!), our home is set amidst nature with vast opportunity to learn and explore the Canadian outdoors. We cook a lot, so if you'd like to we can cook together!
Help
APRIL 2026: Spring clean up! I need a lot of help getting the inside and outside of the house ready for the sun to shine back on it .
Things we'll be doing: Outside: Window washing and general house clean up, clearing debris in large areas, chipping branches, general clean up of winter debris. If you are a knowledgeable gardener or landscape person even better! Also organizing wood and tool sheds etc. Trail clean up too!
Nothing specific in terms of projects, just need a self-directed, person to come help out inside and out :)
Inside: Need to get inside and outside of all spaces clean and clear. Getting donations cleaned and out, cleaning windows, inside cupboards, making space and helping things feel alive again for Spring. If you love organizing, that's a super plus!
GENERAL:
With all the beautiful trees comes a lot of tree and property maintenance. We can always use help with outdoor property/garden things (pruning and cutting in Spring, property clean up, firewood prep and wood chipping in fall etc.) as well as general household upkeep projects (painting, carpentry, cleaning etc.). We are setting up some growing areas, planning out the gardens and creating trails around etc. If you have a love or skill you'd like to share or something you'd like to learn, please let us know!

Accommodation
Camping trailer (see pics) or if you prefer we have a den room in the main house with a queen bed and bathroom down the hall (we sleep on the same floor).

Yes! We also have a 16' camper ourselves and are able to offer space. Check with us for rig size and set up and we can see what we can do!

Please ask, depending on your pet we can try to make it work and accommodate. We have 2 small Cavapoos and love dogs, if yours is sociable with other animals and ok in open areas with wildlife, we are happy to see if it can work.
