Description
I live in the little village of Siran in the South of France with my 3 rescue dogs - 2 yorkies and a disabled chihuahua.
I have loved France since first coming here as a teenager and finally realised my dream of living here some 2 years ago. I have recently bought a house which although structurally sound, requires some remodellingTypes of help and learning opportunities

I am an English speaker so this may suit someone who would like to improve their english skills. I am based in rural France and currently undertaking some renovations which you may or may not wish to become involved in.
You will live with myself and my 3 little dogs and be fully immersed in french lifeHelp
I'm looking for some help with decoration and preferably someone with carpentry skills (although not essential). 4-5 hours per day for 5 days per week. There may be occasions where if I am out for the day, I would ask you to feed / look after the dogs for me

The house is situated in a village with a bar, boulangerie and small convenience store.
You would have a private bedroom and bathroom, and shared living space. There is also a small indoor pool and garden to avail of.
I am not a regular cook although when I do cook we can share a meal together. If I am not cooking on a particular night I will ensure there is food which you can prepare yourself. What else ...
This is an area steeped in the history of the Cathars so there is plenty to see and do e.g. visit to Carcassonne, Minerve etc. The beaches of the med are only 40 minutes drive from here, and a trip to Spain will take 1.5 hours. The Minervois is also famous for its wine and there are great little local restaurants nearby. You would have access to a bike on a daily basis and access to a car, when I am not using it.
I am sorry that I cannot accommodate workawayers with pets but one of my dogs can be a bit temperamental and territorial with other dogs and he really does not like cats at all - sorry.A little more information

I work from home so recognise how important it is to have a good internet connection. Unfortunately fibre has not yet reached the village here, but the ADSL line is not bad
