Description
Hello you lovely workawayer!
I live in Piha, a small surf village on the West Coast of New Zealand (North Island).
My dog was hit by a car. I need urgently help with carrying the dog (mini Poodle, she has a broken pelvis) up and down the stairs, walking the other dog (Labradoodle) at the beach, feeding the hens and some help around the house.
PS. Surf school is just across the road...

I stayed for two weeks with Bryce, Stefanie, and Josh in Piha. Everyone was very accommodating, and the workload was quite manageable. Most of the day-to-day labor consisted of housekeeping/cleaning, with a few outdoor projects thrown into the mix every so often. Daniel was a wonderful workawayer! From day one until the last day, he was super willing to take on any task! He was very easy to live with and super courteous! I stayed with this family for around 3 weeks, and it was such a lovely time. I felt so welcome by both Bryce and Steff, being fortunate enough to spend the Christmas season with them. They are really communicative making the stay with them very easily. Always willing to share and help me around I also enjoyed helping them as much as I could :).

Jonas is a FANTASTIC young man. Very hard working, with a real skill for gardening and garden DESIGN! He cut some plants according to a Foto I gave him and when I came home our overgrown garden looked like a park!!! Stunning.
