Description
We are an art residential space. Currently, we have two paid staff for helping us with the properties. We do host volunteers that help us with the space. It is more like an artist collective where all the artists come at the space to create art or rest. We do have a few cottages where we have art patrons/lovers/supporters who come and stay.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Here volunteers can immerse themselves in a creative and sustainable lifestyle. You’ll explore dance, theatre, and cinema, live in eco-friendly mud houses, and enjoy farm-to-table meals prepared at Laali Ki Rasoi. Engage in local Rajasthani culture through folk arts, festivals, and traditional crafts while connecting with a diverse community of artists and travelers. It’s a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, learn new skills, and experience life in harmony with nature.

Accommodation
Our dormitory offers a simple yet unique living experience, crafted with natural materials like wood and bamboo to reflect an earthy, rustic charm. The space features handcrafted bunk beds, plenty of natural light, and open ventilation, creating a serene and comfortable environment. It’s a communal setup, perfect for connecting with fellow travelers while enjoying a peaceful stay close to nature. The dorm embodies the spirit of minimalism, sustainability, and community living, offering a refreshing break from the ordinary.
All meals are vegetarian, wholesome, and home-cooked. Volunteers eat together in a shared space, which is a special time to connect and pause. Before we begin our meal, we start with a moment of silence to acknowledge the food and the work that went into preparing it. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner are provided as part of the exchange, and occasional snacks or tea are available throughout the day.
What else ...
During your time off, you’re invited to slow down and soak in the rhythm of the land. Most afternoons flow gently into long walks through the gardens, playful moments with Coco and Jinny — our two resident dogs — or quiet sunsets at the amphitheatre. Some Workawayers spend their free time creating art, dancing in the open studio, joining yoga or movement sessions, or simply reading under a tree with a cup of chai. Evenings often unfold into music jams, shared meals, or conversations around the fire.
For those who wish to explore beyond, Jaipur city lies about 30–40 minutes away, filled with vibrant bazaars, heritage cafés, forts like Amber and Nahargarh, and a growing art scene. The nearby village offers small tea shops and local life, while the surrounding hills make for peaceful sunrise hikes.
Transport to and from Jaipur is easy to arrange — cabs, autos, and local buses are available, and we’re happy to guide you if it’s your first visit. Many volunteers share rides to explore or choose to stay back, soaking in the slow, creative pace of life — a rhythm that’s easy to fall in love with.
