  • Description

I'm a single work-from-home parent living and working in sunny Auckland on the North Shore. We live next to heaps of beautiful beaches. We have a big flat of friendly introverts, a lot of our flatmates are trans and/or queer and so we prefer similar. I'm looking for workaways who are consistent, self-motivated and reliable to help with day-to-day life, Monday to Friday. Longer-term preferred.

    Support tasks include:

Healthy (mild) vegan cooking (1 bulk meal per week)
    Light housework
Bonus if you're handy and know how to build stuff - current projects include working on my house bus and helping me build a rollerskating/dance studio.

The work should take an organised person 10-12 hours per week leaving you the rest of the time to work, socialise, & enjoy the city.

You'll have the use of a vehicle if you can drive a manual, or a bike if you prefer to ride and there is a local yoga centre nearby offering free yoga.

You'll have WIFI, a big deck, a small room, a large king-sized bed and bedding, with a warm, dry, home. No animals anymore (thought I'm thinking about it) and one cool almost 10 year old kid.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

We are ten minutes drive from the main bus station to get to town, there is a bus stop right outside our house, and we have SO many beaches right on our doorstep! We are in the heart of North Shore beaches, you can walk to either Browns Bay or Waiake, or take a picnic to Long Bay reserve. You can walk from Browns Bay to Waiake, Rothesay Bay, Murrays Bay and Mairangi Bay along the coastal walkway or along the beach if the tide is out! We're also about 15min from the Albany pools and gym, as well as Kawai Purapura (a yoga retreat centre who also offer workaway spots and free yoga)
