I'm Thomas, I've moved from Spain with my wife to start a life in Colombia. We've been working for months in the construction of more rooms for our hostel but there is still tons to do left!. We're finding it hard to continue on our own although the locals are very helpful and friends help as well. We're trying to find people who don't mind volunteering in construction projects and spend some time in the country side. volunteers will have free accommodation in our hostel and breakfast & lunch in exchange and the chance to learn from a new culture and spend an amazing time in an Andean paramo. We're located in the south of Colombia, in a village called Cabrera, 20min away from Pasto.

Help with Eco Projects
Volunteers will spend time with the locals and learn from them as they will be working together, it's a great opportunity to learn or improve Spanish language and visit amazing places in the Nariño region.
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
You can help us paint walls, doors and windows, polish wooden doors, install ceilings and walls. We also need your help to design and maintain our gardens and feed our animals.
Shared room in our EcoHostel without charge.
Breakfast & lunch everyday of the week is also included. volunteers will not receive any type of payment as our hostel will be closed for the public until the construction project is finished, so it does not generates any type of economic profits yet. volunteers will not receive daily, weekly or monthly wages, this will be offset by the accommodation and meals.
Nariño is a fantastic region full of exuberant nature and breathtaking landscapes, very close to our hostel is La cocha Lake, a highly recommended place for people who truly enjoy nature.
