    Description

Our land is situated 20 minutes outside Nelson, BC and is one of the 6 homesites on an 88-acre off-grid, micro-hydro powered, forested land co-operative.

3 people (Lana, Star (they/them) and Michael) live here full-time, with another 15 on the land co-op we are part of. We all deeply love nature, and are into personal development, communication, dance and movement. We work as nature guides, therapists, facilitators and artists and are excited to share our fun, creative and full lives with anyone who comes to stay.

Our long-term vision is to co-create community that is more in harmony with nature. We host occasional outdoor eco-psychology retreats (there will be a 12-day vision fast at the end of September this year), psychedelic therapy sessions and dance parties here. All the money we make from events goes back to feed the community.

On our acre, we have a beautiful cabin, a yurt and a mostly constructed roundhouse. We are surrounded by a forest with a creek a short walk away, gardens, an outdoor bath and shower, and walking trails to the river.

Nelson has a ton of culture for a small town you can access and we will bring you to fun eveys.. Lots of dance, live music, art, performances, good food, farmer's markets and community gatherings. It is surrounded by lots of space to adventure hiking, mountaineering, mountain biking, backpacking, canoeing, kayaking, skiing and more.

Our home is somewhat remote, but we can access Nelson in a 20-minute drive, a bus stop a 15-minute walk away or a 45-minute bike ride. No wired wifi but have internet access through phone data/hotspot.

The biggest project this summer is completing the construction of the round-house. We will be making and putting natural plaster walls up on the inside, finishing the ceiling and floors with wood, doing cabinetry, landscaping and beautifying.
We also need support in the garden, cooking, cleaning and in other land-based activities we get up to.
