Description
Hello there! We need help with our new house in Manziana, we're next to the forest so plenty of outdoor stuff to do. There's a bit of land and lots of projects to start so having an extra pair of hands always helps. I grew up in Rome, I'm Irish Italian, while my partner is Scottish Irish.
We've had a few workawayers and they helped with gardening (planting stuff, weeding, watering, cutting grass etc), building stuff, woodwork, cleaning etc. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
I am happy to teach some DIY and gardening (I am not great, but we could learn stuff together by doing and checking youtube videos) , music, whatever.
I am happy to teach Italian or English as well as introducing you to teaching if you want to help me out with my students
I also run the International Comedy Show where I host and produce weekly stand-up comedy shows in Rome; if you want you could help with organising that or even perform at our open mics.
I also play the accordion and the guitar and I am happy to teach those too -
Help
We've been to this new country house for 12 months now and the house is actually pretty ready but it still needs some final touches. The land needs lots of work, from cutting grass, planting trees, sorting out the shed etc.
There's other long term projects that I'd like to start, like getting goats, chickens, installing solar panels. Lots of things to do and learn. -

Accommodation
You'll stay in the guest room or in a campervan in the garden, surrounded by nature and just steps from the forest.

What else ...
We are 5 km away from Manziana train station and 8km from Bracciano. The Bracciano lake is lovely and you could do SUP or other activities. Lots of nice hikes and stuff to do nearby.

From day one, they were hardworking, reliable, and able to work completely independently. Whatever task was given to them, they took ownership of it and got it done without needing supervision.

Guenda is such a humble person you can learn a lot from. She is just lovely and generous and really doesn`t ask much work. At times, I even felt it`s too little :) Also, it is easy to make her happy (we cooked for her and her husband Marco and had a very nice chatty … read more

She is a hard worker and helped me a lot as she was able to organize herself and carry out tough jobs on her own. She painted the walls of a flat on her own, kept everything clean and cooked great meals.
