Hi traveler! We are an intercultural family with 3 kids, mom german, dad basque, and the kids grow up trilingual. Our home is at the beach in a cute fishing village in the basque country near Bilbao. We are looking for help with childcare and everyday household tasks. We love to surf, skate and being outside a lot. Right now the kids are in kindergarten, school and a beach school and we have a wonderful and loving workaway staying with us till Christmas. So we are looking for someone to be with us in Janauray for at least 3 months, the kids need some time to get comfy with a new friend at home and day to day routines will need some time for you to groove in as well. Just 2 minutes walk is the beach with surf waves. And there are a lot more beaches near to explore, each one unique in his geography. We talk german and spanish and basque at home. You can use our surfboards, body boards and skates and come to learn this sports with us.

Help
We are looking for a long-term volunteer, 3 months minimum.
Our children are 3, 6 and 11 - and they are very active and outgoing guys. We need help with getting them ready for school, tidying up their room, getting them ready to dinner and then ready to go to bed. That is to say: preparing afternoon snacks, helping with putting on the piyamas, brushing teeth, reading a goodnight story, and sometimes preparing some easy dinner for them.
They go to school from 9 till 16.00 pm, then it's time for making some snacks and going with them outside would be great. As we are six altogether ; ) there is laundry and the dishwasher to be done daily. lunch
Two days a week the two younger ones go to an alternative beach school, from 10-15 pm. You would have to take them there by public transport and pack lunch and snacks for them to take away. As well the picking up is your task, as we are working outside at these hours.
Dad Roberto is working full-time and travelling a lot during the week and mom Frances is working part-time and as well 2 days in the afternoon as a language teacher. Those afternoons we definitely need your help with the two younger children.
If you could help with some instrument classes, backing with them, painting, reading etc. that would be great. The boys are open and do love new people!

We are passionate about languages. Speaking German, english, spanish, basque, catalan, italian and some Bahasa Indonesia we would love to teach you our mother languages german, spanish and basque. Furthermore I do work as a german as foreign language teacher.
Accommodation
You have one room and a shared bathroom with the kids. We live in a flat with 3 sleeping rooms, open kitchen and living room. Around the flat there is a garden.
What else ...
Plentzia has a metro station that takes you to Bilbao with his Guggenheim Museum and much more cultural offers and night live. There is as well bus connections to several destinations. You have surfing beaches, geographical outstanding sites with excavation places and much more. San Sebastian and UNESCO site Urdai bai are a must see.
