Description
We are a couple living off-grid with a baby raising chickens and beginning a permaculture style plant nursery. We love plants and insects and birds, hikes and making fires for heating our house. I have a twelve year old who lives with us part time who enjoys playing the piano and helping out with his baby brother.

I like to cook with sourdough and make my own sauerkraut and other ferments. Kristos works with all sorts of exotic plants in a nursery. Both of us speak English and French. We like dancing and I go to an intentional dance sometimes. I also play marimba in the summertime. We would enjoy learning about new foods, and would be pleased to share Permaculture and other gardening and self-sufficient skills.
Projects involving children

There are two main ways we have asked for help: one is to help as nannying m cleaning making food, and two: on building and moving wood or helping in the garden.
Languages

French: IntermediateThis host offers a language exchange
We would be happy to teach English or French, Kristos is fluent as he grew up in Quebec.Accommodation
We have a guest room in our house, we have a tiny home, and we have a couple of tents if needed. The tiny home has its own wood stove and if you are staying with us we would help you light a fire and teach you how it works. We would share all our meals at the main house or if you’d prefer we could have breakfast and dinner and then provide a lunch packed for your adventure.
What else ...
We have a kayak and an e-bike, often people who come here hitch-hike to get around as it is a safe close-knit community. Guests are generally welcome in the house 9am till 7pm.
