  • Description

Hand-built in 1978 by original members of Whistler’s backcountry community, this is the passion project of a few 'tenacious' mountain loving individuals. This love for mountains and the great outdoors is alive and well today with a tiny team of approx. 8 members, working tirelessly to share this place with genuine services that truly connect our guests with the quintessential magic.

In the heart of this place is an intimate backcountry Inn that can host up to 24 guests. The connection here is human. Most cell phone's don't get reception, and we don't have Wi-Fi either. Our generator runs mornings & evenings only.

Imagine… a beautifully sunny and crisp winter day and fresh snow as far as the eye can see. No resort crowds to worry about, just the solitude of the backcountry. Gliding along a freshly groomed track or shredding lines down from the top of a high-alpine ridge, the choices are endless. Along with the unique experience, we will provide workawayers with a Salary commensurate with experience along with room & board at the Lodge + a Complimentary Adult Ski Season Pass and Free personal usage of Rental Equipment including Salomon classic and skate packages + demo line, snowshoes, and touring gear.

We're on the lookout for a motivated, effective person couple to assist with the daily operations of a successful backcountry lodge in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia. Daily routines include housekeeping, guest relations, snow-shoveling, fire-starting, and professional kitchen duties + spectacular backcountry ski/splitboarding, xc skiing, and snowshoeing in our mountain paradise. This opportunity is paid and we will be pursuing a traditional employment interview/screening process. Sincere apologies for the poor response rate...we are slightly overwhelmed by the amount of interest here on workaway and it's an additional portal of correspondence to keep up with.
