Description
Greetings from the North of Thailand! We are a little Art/Eco-Resort Project located near the highest mountain Thailands, about 60 Kilometers (40 miles for the metrically challenged ;) ) South-West of Chiang Mai. Much more than just a Resort, it will be an amazing place for retreats, events and workshops, a space for people to meet, learn, relax and explore the mind. We also plan to set up an organic/permaculture garden on a nearby plot of land next year. The project is situated at the edge of a small village so you will be able to experience life in rural Thailand. There are several waterfalls, elephant camps and hilltribe villages nearby.
Eventually we want to support the village as best as we can, for example by giving away fish we plan to grow with an aquaponics system, organizing free garbage collection for the village (right now most of the plastic trash is burned) and we want to encourage our guests to exchange knowledge with the locals.Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
Do you have building experience with bricks or stonework?
Are you good at carpentry?
Are you a person with good precise artisan skills?
Have you ever made mosaics before?
Do you love to draw or paint, did you attend art school and do you have images of your works?
Perhaps you help with wood or metal or sculpt in various materials?
Are you passionate about gardening? Rainy season is approaching and we want make the place a lot greener!
It may be that you simply love to cook or would be happy just to help keep the place tidy and the water plentiful.
If so then perhaps you would love to spend some time at a special place in the rural countryside not far from Chiang Mai. We require folks with good skills to help bring an amazing and unique project to completion.
MINIMUM STAY IS 2 WEEKS, PREFERABLY LONGER! (Except for professional trades(wo)men (carpenters, tilers))
When you message us, please let us know WHEN you want to start and HOW LONG you want to stay for.
UPDATE 05/19: We have some mosaics left to finish and will need help with gardening soon!Languages spoken
German: Fluent

The domes are nearing completion so accommodation is quite nice! All domes have a working toilet and sink and we have one hot shower on the premises!
What else ...
There are several waterfalls nearby, the highest peak Thailand's is also not far away. There are no buses operating in this area but there is a Songtaew (yellow taxis) going to and from the village once a day. Hitchhiking to the next bigger town is easy though. From there you can catch a yellow car to Chiang Mai.
Hopefully you are a dog person because we have 6 of them! :)
Vegans/vegetarians are welcome but may have to cook for themselves as we are omnivores ;)A little more information

She helped us with the mosaics and did a great job! I would highly recommend her to any host! Hope to see you again in the future so you can see the place finished!
We helped grouting tiles and floors and mozaik and had Kiki , the best chef in Chiangmai serve us with the best Thai meals she can think of.
After work we explored waterfalls and nearby towns.
I highly recommend this place if you are up north!!
Cheers for now

I stayed for 5 weeks in this place surrounded by the rice fields, near many adventurous attractions ... waterfalls, National Park, Tribal villages etc.
To work on this project was a hoot, sometimes hard work, but rewarding at the end of the day, also because it switches to fun, joy and relaxation.
