A woman stands smiling in a grassy field while a man sits barefoot, holding a young, sleepy child. Trees and hills create a beautiful, lush backdrop.
A serene river winds through a lush, green tropical forest. Sunlight filters through dense foliage. People wade and relax along the calm, clear water’s edge.

    Description

We are a family of 4, we have a 5 yr, and a 22 month, also living with us on the farm, 3 dogs, 3 cats, a peacock, and plenty of chickens. We are vegetarians, we are into permaculture, and into taking care of our planet in our daily responsibilities, like recycling our trash or making it useful! We love community gatherings, musical circles, and do fun things around the village with our family.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Staying with us is an opportunity to experience simple, connected living in nature. We love sharing meals together and exchanging stories and experiences from different cultures.

You’ll get to see how life unfolds on our small family farm — learning about permaculture, animal care, gardening, and sustainable living. It’s a wonderful way to understand what it means to live close to the land and in harmony with nature.

We’re surrounded by beautiful river spots with big natural pools, stunning jungle views, and peaceful energy. Nearby, you can join inspiring community events such as weekly ecstatic dances, cacao ceremonies, temazcals, women’s circles, and other gatherings that celebrate connection, music, and inner growth.

We’re looking for someone with good hands for construction who’d like to join us on the farm and help with a few projects in the house where they’ll be living. You’ll enjoy fresh eggs from our chickens, plus bananas, coconuts, hearts of palm, and yuca grown right here on the farm. We often share meals, gather around the fire, and enjoy time together as a community.
Families are welcome—if you have a child, that can work too.
The farm is surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and rivers within walking distance. We’re part of a vibrant international community with events happening nearby. If you love nature, music, and good vibes, this is your spot.
We’re a family with kids, dogs, cats, a friendly peacock who loves attention, and sweet chickens who enjoy human company.
We’d love to share our first home on this land with someone who loves children and animals, enjoys a simple and connected lifestyle, and can live independently while being part of a community.
The nearest public transport is about a 20-minute drive away in Tinamastes, where you’ll also find the weekly feria (farmers’ market). There’s a small grocery shop within walking distance, and it’s generally easy to get a ride from nearby places.
If you’re interested in coming for 2–4 weeks, let’s talk and see if it’s a good match.
    Blessings 🌴✨🐋

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

We have an extra living space on our farm a 2 minutes walk up the hill - a peaceful bamboo house, designed with natural materials and built with love and creativity. It's surrounded by lush greenery, a flowing creek, and the sounds of the jungle.

The space feels very alive, open to the breeze, the songs of birds, and the rhythm of nature. It’s open and simple yet cozy.

We’ve celebrated birthdays, gatherings, and ceremonies here, and it’s a place that holds a lot of heart and community energy. Staying here is a chance to experience a truly natural lifestyle, living close to pachamama.

We will provide some meals, costa rican food mainly, or some ingredients like vegetables and fruits.
