    Description

We are a family-run agroecological project guided by the principles of permaculture and regenerative agriculture, focused on personal self-sufficiency and knowledge sharing. Currently, one person lives on the farm, and two others collaborate regularly. Our project is centered around a lifestyle of living off the land and maintaining our traditional farmhouse.

We do not require any help for business or profitable activities. The tasks are related to our self-sufficiency and the maintenance of the farm.

The main tasks include daily chores focused on our own consumption and lifestyle:

    - Self-sufficiency Garden: Working in the vegetable garden for our daily meals (sowing, planting, harvesting, and caring for seedlings).

    - Traditional Bread Making: Making bread for our own household consumption: from sowing the ancient grain to baking in the wood-fired oven.

    - Home Maintenance: Making firewood for the wood stove and maintenance of irrigation/water systems.

    - Preserving Food: Making preserves for our pantry from the garden surplus.

    - Animal Care: Caring for our companion animals (horses, chickens, a dog, and 2 cats).

A typical day usually starts at 7 a.m. with animal care: feeding the horses, letting the chickens out, and watering seedlings in the greenhouse. After that, we focus on chores to keep the project running.

We provide individual accommodation and a shared living area. Almost all food comes from our own garden. Meals are prepared together using our own vegetables and olive oil. Cooking is a shared social moment, and we usually enjoy at least one meal per day as a group.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Besides farm tasks, there are many opportunities to enjoy nature: the farm is very quiet and secluded, yet only 5 minutes by car from Solsona (and 15 by bike), a town with a lively cultural and social scene. In summer, you can cool off in nearby rivers.

    //////////////////////
