    Description

We are a family of 4 who live on an 80 acre ranch in Golden BC.
Each year we grow our own fruit and vegetables, raise our own pigs and chickens and continue to work on our building projects.
We are currently building a beautiful, bespoke, timber framed workshop and home as well as a log cabin.
We run our own saw mill and use timber from our own land, or locally sourced timber when necessary. Our preference is to do as much as we can ourselves, and use traditional methods to create long lasting beautiful buildings.

We need help! We are looking for people who either have building skills and experience or people who have less experience but have enthusiasm and a thirst to learn! James is passionate about woodworking and we have been told he is a great teacher!
    .
Our approach would be described as relaxed and wanting to get the most out of the beautiful area in which we live whilst moving our project forward.

Our 80 acre ranch is set against crown land (so we have many wildlife visitors) with stunning views out over the mountains and world class hiking from the doorstep!
It is truly a magnificent place to spend time. In our spare time we love to hike, bike, hang out at the river, have camp fires and generally make the most of the outdoors.

Please note we do not currently have horses.
