    Description

We're a family-operated sled dog tour company with 26 years of experience, offering unforgettable excursions to adventurers worldwide. This summer, we're looking for a young lady who speaks English (as a first or second language) to join our family from July through September. Your primary role will be helping with my two daughters—13-year-old Jordyn, an independent and adventurous spirit, and 9-year-old Cassidy, who is brimming with creativity and a love for music, theater, and performing.

In addition to childcare, responsibilities include assisting with kennel duties, gardening, caring for farm animals, property projects and household chores. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking, biking, exploring, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty with physical tasks around the property and our sled dog kennel.

The right candidate should bring a positive attitude, love working with children, and enjoy teaching and adventuring with them. You must be independent, reliable, tidy, helpful, and self-motivated. Our lifestyle requires someone who thrives in a somewhat isolated setting and can contribute to making our lives a bit easier, not busier.

We offer accommodations in a cozy cabin with power and Wi-Fi, and shared access to the kitchen, laundry, and shower facilities in our main house. The initial role covers the summer months, but there’s an exciting opportunity to extend into the fall and winter, transitioning into a paid role as a sled dog handler or tour instructor from mid-October to mid-April. Additionally, we have availability for a pre-summer stay from April through June, providing the same amenities, though during this time, the kids will be in school. Whether you're seeking a summer adventure or a more extended experience, there’s a role to suit your interest and schedule.

For those specifically interested in the sled dog tours, we’re also seeking an additional candidate for the winter season only, Candiddates must be willing to commit to the entire winter touring season and have a proper work permit in place.

If you’re up for an adventure, enjoy working with kids and animals, and have references to share, we’d love to hear from you!
