    Description

    This winter, we're looking for a solo traveler who speaks English (as a first or second language) to help with our small, friendly sled dog kennel focused on ethical hands on care for our sled dogs and offering authentic dogsled experiences.

    Our pack is made up of 60 happy hardworking huskies who love running, cuddles, and attention! We live surrounded by wilderness - a perfect place for nature lovers who enjoy crisp mornings, deep snow, and a simple but hard working and very rewarding lifestyle.

    What You'll Do:
    You will help with the daily rhythm of kennel life which includes:
    * feeding, watering and cleaning for the dogs
    * maintenance of kennel and equipment
    * trail maintenance
    * harnessing and helping with sled runs and training
    * brushing, cuddling and socializing dogs
    * Helping guests meet dogs and learn to run teams of your own if interested in guiding tours and you are willing to be certified to do so.

    Experience with animals or dogs is great, but enthusiasm, strong work ethic and love from the heart is what we are looking for.

    Accommodation and food:
    * Cozy private cabin with power and Wi-Fi.
    * Shared access to the kitchen, laundry, and shower facilities in our main house.
    * All meals are supplied by yourself with the occasional shared meal ( to be determined upon arrival)

    Requirements:
    * Love for dogs, the outdoors, and the cold
    * Physically able to lift and do outdoor work
    * Flexible positive attitude
    * Committment for min 3 months
    * Must be at least 19 years of age
    *non smoker , non drinker, drugs etc.

    Seeking the right person for our Winter tour operations. We are preferably looking for a woman if living on site. Wage is 18$ / hour for each hour worked. Required to work min 30hrs per week up to 40hrs per week under these terms.
