Description
We are an old historic house that hosts events from time to time, but mostly lectures/talks. The upcoming festival is an annual one and takes place this year on 17th - 19th July 2024. We host tours and offer tea/coffee on request. We also Rent out the house maximum 3 months and would require Housekeeper/helper.

They will have an opportunity to work in a historic house on the banks of the river suck, just off the center of Ireland in Co. Roscommon. A fine house in a rural setting. The festival will bring a vast dept of culture and knowledge to the house as it is the home of the annually run festival which takes place this year from 17th - 19th July.

You will stay in the house itself or the nearby chalet. Both have double beds and bathroom/toilets adjacent to them that are used only by staff.

We are located a ten minute drive from Roscommon town with the suck valley way trail on our door step. In addition we are one hour from Galway City. The train in Roscommon town can take you to Dublin or Athlone - the center point of Ireland. There are a number of fine restaurants and coffee shops in Roscommon town and an abundance of shops.
