    Description

I am a Bedouin, and I've spent my whole life in Petra, Jordan. Now I'm trying to share my home and culture with people from around the world by opening a B&B for tourists coming to experience this Wonder of the World. I'm looking for help with running the place, in exchange for room and board, plus the opportunity to live within walking distance of incredible two-thousand-year-old monuments, learn Arabic, and soak up traditional Bedouin culture.

    Help

I recently opened a new B&B for tourists to Petra, and need help maintaining the facilities. This will involve cleaning the house, but will also entail cooking traditional Bedouin meals with me when tourists request. I may also request your help in marketing and publicizing the property when opportunities arise.

Aside from Jordan's most famous tourist attraction being only 10 minutes away, Jordan is full of cultural attractions like concerts in Amman, natural splendors like Wadi Rum and Dana Nature Reserve, and plenty of hiking and rock climbing opportunities. Volunteers will have ample time to explore the country.
