We are Maximiliano and Nadia, and we live in Junín de los Andes, Neuquén, in the heart of Argentine Patagonia, a place surrounded by mountains, rivers, and lakes, ideal for those who enjoy nature. We are looking for travelers willing to collaborate with various home maintenance tasks, such as painting, gardening, and general repairs. You don't need to be an expert, but you do need to be willing, friendly, and eager to learn and share. We love welcoming people from other places, exchanging experiences, and showcasing a bit of our Patagonian culture. In exchange for your help, we offer accommodation in a family-friendly environment and the chance to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of Junín de los Andes. What we expect from volunteers: Collaboration with painting, maintenance, and minor repairs. Help in the garden and plant care. A willingness and a spirit of cultural exchange.   ¡Hola! Somos Maximiliano y Nadia, vivimos en Junín de los Andes, Neuquén, en plena Patagonia argentina, un lugar rodeado de montañas, ríos y lagos ideales para quienes disfrutan de la naturaleza.
  
  Estamos buscando viajeros con ganas de colaborar en diferentes tareas de mantenimiento del hogar, pintura, jardinería y arreglos generales. No hace falta ser experto, pero sí tener predisposición, buena onda y ganas de aprender y compartir.
  
  Nos encanta recibir gente de otros lugares, intercambiar experiencias y mostrar un poco de nuestra cultura patagónica. A cambio de tu ayuda, te ofrecemos alojamiento en un ambiente familiar y la posibilidad de disfrutar de la tranquilidad y belleza de Junín de los Andes.

  We love welcoming people from around the world and sharing moments together. As a family, we believe that cultural exchange is one of the most valuable aspects of this experience. We often share meals, conversations, and walks with volunteers. They'll learn about local customs, try Patagonian cuisine, and discover the peaceful life of Junín de los Andes. We can also teach them about the area's nature, fly fishing, mountain and river hikes, and a lifestyle in touch with the depths of Patagonia. In return, we love learning about other cultures, languages, ways of life, and travel experiences. Each person who visits our home leaves a mark and new stories that enrich our daily lives.
  
  Nos encanta recibir personas de diferentes partes del mundo y compartir momentos juntos. Como familia, creemos que el intercambio cultural es una de las cosas más valiosas de esta experiencia.
  
  Con los voluntarios solemos compartir comidas, charlas y paseos. Podrán conocer costumbres locales, probar la gastronomía patagónica y descubrir la vida tranquila de Junín de los Andes. También podemos enseñar sobre la naturaleza de la zona, pesca con mosca, caminatas por montañas y ríos, y un estilo de vida en contacto con la Patagonia profunda.
  
  A cambio, nos encanta aprender sobre otras culturas, idiomas, formas de vida y experiencias de viaje. Cada persona que pasa por casa deja una huella y nuevas historias que enriquecen nuestro día a día.

  Help

  We'd love help with simple home maintenance tasks, painting, gardening, and general repairs. This could range from mowing the lawn, planting flowers, or fixing a leaky faucet to painting or minor repairs to our properties, a house and a teahouse. No professional experience is necessary; the important thing is a willingness to collaborate, learn, and share. Sometimes we'll work together to teach and support, and other times you can complete the tasks independently. We believe this exchange is also an opportunity to share knowledge and skills: if you know tools, gardening, or DIY, you're welcome! And if not, no problem: you can learn here.
  
  Nos gustaría recibir ayuda en tareas simples de mantenimiento del hogar, pintura, jardinería y arreglos generales. Puede ser desde cortar el pasto, plantar flores o arreglar una canilla que gotea, hasta dar una mano con pintura o pequeñas reparaciones en nuestras propiedades una casa y una casa de te.
  
  No se necesita experiencia profesional: lo importante es tener ganas de colaborar, aprender y compartir. Algunas veces trabajaremos juntos para enseñar y acompañar, y otras veces podrás hacer las tareas de manera independiente.
  
  Creemos que este intercambio también es una oportunidad para compartir conocimientos y habilidades: si sabés de herramientas, jardinería o bricolaje, ¡bienvenido! Y si no, no pasa nada: acá podes aprender.

  Yes! We're very interested in language exchanges. We speak Spanish and would love to practice English with travelers. We're also happy to help you improve your Spanish in everyday life, with conversations, activities, and outings. ¡Sí! Nos interesa mucho el intercambio de idiomas. Hablamos español y nos gustaría practicar inglés con los viajeros. También estaremos felices de ayudarte a mejorar tu español en la vida diaria, con conversaciones, actividades y paseos.

  Accommodation

  We offer a comfortable and safe place to stay in our home in Junín de los Andes. You'll have your own clean space to rest, with a bed and linens provided. We'll share the kitchen and common areas, always maintaining a family atmosphere. As for meals, we usually cook at home and enjoy sharing the table with the volunteers. There will also be times when you can use the kitchen independently if you prefer. There's a river just 500 meters away to enjoy, and mountain trails just 200 meters away. You can explore the area with lakes and rivers, and the majestic Lanín Volcano. The idea is for you to feel at home, with freedom, and at the same time, a part of family life.
  
  Ofrecemos un lugar cómodo y seguro para hospedarte en nuestra casa en Junín de los Andes. Tendrás tu propio espacio limpio para descansar, con cama y ropa de cama incluida.
  
  Compartiremos la cocina y los espacios comunes, siempre con buen ambiente familiar. En cuanto a las comidas, solemos cocinar en casa y nos gusta compartir la mesa con los voluntarios. También habrá momentos en los que podrás usar la cocina de manera independiente si lo preferís.
  Tienes un Rio a solo 500 metros para disfrutar y senderos de montaña a solo 200 metros, podrás recorrer la zona con Lagos y Ríos y el majestuoso Volcán Lanin.
  
  La idea es que te sientas como en casa, con libertad y a la vez siendo parte de la vida familiar.
