 - Description- Family run wildlife shelter specialising in wombats. Small vegetable patch and farmyard animals. 18acres of mainly natural bush abundant with wildlife and a big reserve for leisurely walks. A huge dam with yabbies and deep for a cool swim at the end of the day. King parrots that feed out of your hand with the occasional echidna wandering through and the sound of deer honking in the bush. Frogs to go to sleep by from our fully converted comfortable bus. Clear star lit sky to watch the falling stars go by while you can sit by the fire pit by the bus.

 - Help- Keeping the vege patch healthy and neat, general farm help is always needed when there are animals to tend to. Pruning, clearing, weeding, watering, animals to feed and clean up after. Wombats to pick grass for and make sure water and pen is done daily.

 - Accommodation- Fully self contained bus, comfortable with full cooking facilities, fridge, heating, cooling, shower with linen and washing machine. 5 hours of farm hand work in exchange for food and accommodation in the bus. 
 - What else ...- There is puffing billy nearby as well as beautiful bushland trails joining onto the property. A trip into the local shops for anything and everything you need. Train line is not too far and transport can be arranged.

I spent (only) 10 days in March at Lyn and Don's place but I'm so thankful for every second.
