    Description

I was a petroleum engineer from Wyoming USA but now retired living in Costa Rica. I want to be as independent as possible, so I bought a 19 hectares farm and built my off-grid house with solar panels and batteries. I built a good size orchard with, oranges, lemons, limes, avocados, figs, bananas, papayas and many other fruit trees. I also have a few cows. My plan is to get more cows, and some pigs and chickens also make a garden for vegetables. Anyone interested in learning this way of live come to Costa Rica! You will have a nice place to stay!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

I love this way of live being as independent as possible. I love taking care of animals and growing fruit with my own hands. Come and learn this way of live. Learn how to take care of animals and growing fruit trees. Learn how to fix problems in the farm like the skid steer quit working. Learn how to take care of a house and fixing a problem such as a water leak. Learn how to take care of the well. Learn how to understand off grid electrical systems if case there is a problem. Learn how to can food and make bread. Learn how to make juices like banana juice. Learn a million things like these! I don't like religion, but I do like to read the bible only if someone is interested to listen.
