    - DIY, like painting, woodwork, decorating
    - General maintenance

    YOUR ROOM
A large room in a beautiful house on the main street of Koyasan, close to all amenities and close to the great Buddhist temples, pagodas, university and museum. There are hiking trails nearby, and a bus stop right outside. You can see the great gate called "Daimon" from your window.

NO AIR CONDITIONING / CENTRAL HEATING
Koyasan is a MOUNTAIN, so it is FREEZING cold with endless rain from December until April.

    THE GARDEN
The garden is 100% chemical free and in the summer we grow herbs.

    * Work starts soon after 7am.
    * Food is vegetarian / vegan but includes fish if you want it. No meat.
    * Smoking ok in the garden.

    KOYASAN:
There is NOTHING to do in Koyasan.
Koyasan is a famous Buddhist Centre about 3 hours south of Kyoto and 2 hours south of Osaka in the central area of JAPAN.
