  There is a saying: "It takes a whole village to raise a child." We have FOUR of them...
  
  Mathias has a degree in business administration and is at home in the start-up scene in Berlin. Innovative, sustainable projects are his thing. Loft farming, making your own oat milk, growing sprouts and earthworm colonies to boot. Maybe you'd like to get involved in one of them?
  
  Katja came to midwifery after years of self-employment as a communications trainer and consultant. Actually logical after four great births, right? The training (2020-2023) will continue for another two years and entails working in shifts. This means that we are once again dependent on a great "back-up".
  
  We love fresh food and really value a plant-based, wholesome diet. Yoga, a dose of philosophy and reflective togetherness is important to us. The children are 3, 6, 12 and 14 and bring with them a wide variety of issues. This definitely requires a certain inner calm, because things can get really colourful here on some days. And of course: the household (i.e. cooking, shopping, basic housekeeping, laundry and tidying up) plays a big and important role for us.
  
  You want to spend time with your family in Berlin and have at least 6-12 months to spare? WOW... Then write to us! You will have your own room in the house where you can retreat and you will be fully involved in the meals.
  
  From our point of view the workaway regulations of 5 hours a day with us fit and in return we are of course interested in what would be so important to you so that you can feel really comfortable and it can become a good togetherness!?
  
  Of course, it would be great if you already enjoy our topics in some way. But this is not a prerequisite! If you have enough joy and zest for life in your backpack, we will find solutions for "the rest".

  Mathias ist als studierter Betriebswirt in der Start-Up Szene von Berlin zu Hause. Innovative, nachhaltige Projekte sind sein Ding. Loft-Farming, Hafermilch selbst zubereiten, Sprossen züchten und Regenwurmkolonien gleich dazu. Vielleicht möchtest du dich in einem davon einbringen?
  
  Katja ist nach Jahren der Selbstständigkeit als Kommunikationtrainerin und Beraterin auf die Hebamme gekommen. Eigentlich folgerichtig nach vier tollen Geburten, oder? Die Ausbildung (2020-2023) dauert noch zwei Jahre an und bringt die Arbeit im Schichtsystem mit sich. Das führt dazu, dass wir einmal mehr auf ein tolles „Back-Up“ angewiesen sind.
  
  Wir lieben frisches Essen und legen wirklich großen Wert auf eine pflanzlich-vollwertige Kost. Yoga, eine Portion Philosophie und ein reflektiertes Miteinander ist für uns wichtig. Die Kinder sind 3, 6, 12 und 14 und bringen die unterschiedlichsten Themen mit sich. Das erfordert durchaus eine gewisse innere Ruhe, denn hier kann es an manchen Tagen wirklich bunt zugehen. Und klar: Der Haushalt (sprich: Kochen, Einkaufen, Grundordnung, Wäsche und Aufräumen) spielt bei uns eine große und wichtige Rolle.
  
  Du hast Lust auf Familie, Berlin und bringst mindestens 6-12 Monate Zeit mit? WOW… Dann schreib´ uns! Du wirst ein eigenes Zimmer im Haus haben, wo du dich zurück ziehen kannst und bist beim Essen voll mit eingeplant.
  
  Von uns aus passen die Workaway-Bestimmungen von 5 Stunden am Tag bei uns und im Gegenzug interessiert uns natürlich, was für dich so wichtig wäre, damit du dich richtig wohl fühlen kannst und es ein gutes Miteinander werden kann!?
  
  Toll wäre natürlich, wenn du in irgendeiner Form schon Freude an Themen von uns mitbringst. Ist aber keine Voraussetzung! Wenn du genug Freude und Lebenslust in deinem Lebensrucksack hast, finden wir für "den Rest“ Lösungen.
