    Description

We are an easy going nerdy family of two adults (Elin 33, Thomas 36 and our two daughters who are 4 years and 6 months old (and our 4 cats :)

We live on a farm on the west coast of Sweden, close to the boarder of Norway. Our dream here is to start a B&B, making our home beautiful, grow our own fruits and vegetables and to have fun in the process :)

HELPERS NEEDED TO SUPPORT OUR BUSY FAMILY LIFE

We’re looking for two motivated and independent people to help us with everyday tasks in our home. We need support with cleaning, cooking, and keeping things organized and to keep our toddler company.

We’re a family running a small business (selling books, board games, and Warhammer), managing other jobs, and raising a toddler and a baby.

With so much going on, we truly appreciate Workawayers who take initiative and help where it’s needed. It really does take a village to keep things running smoothly, and your support would mean a lot to us.

    WHAT WE NEED:

    • Two helpers (with a valid driver’s license — you’ll be able to borrow one of our cars)

    • Tasks include: cleaning, cooking, organizing, occasional errands or driving, and possibly some help in the garden and some organizing in our barn. We also need help with painting rooms inside the main house.

    • Must be self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable pitching in where needed.

    • Entertaining our toddler, she loves to play and is really social.

    WHAT WE OFFER:
    • 4–5 hours of work per day, with 2 days off per week
    • A shared private room (with either one large bed or two single beds)
    • Home-cooked meals and a warm, friendly atmosphere :)

A DAY AT THE FARM CAN LOOK LIKE THIS:

First person who wakes up feeds the cats :)

After that - breakfast. We share kitchen here and you are free to use everything in the kitchen.

After that the work day usually start. Depending on what projects we have at the moment it could be anything from gardening, digging, building, cleaning, painting, cleaning etc.

We have a list in the kitchen that we go through with all new workawayers so you can pick and choose of what you would like to work with on a daily basis.

You get to decide for yourself on when you start to work and when you wanna have a day off. We dont have a strict rule on when you should work :)
But we still expect you to do your full 4-5 hours 5 days a week, but it is up to you how you want to plan your day.

Lunch is whenever people are hungry and usually contains leftovers or what ever you feel like. Dinners we always have together.

That's a typical day here at the farm :)
And we love it when workawayers here gives lots of love and attention to our kids and our cats

If you enjoy cooking then we love to try when workawayers cook meals for everyone aswell.

It is an amazing help for us as newly parents when workawayers takes initiative to clean the kitchen, like take out dishwasher and make sure common areas are tidy. We also really appriciate when workawayers cook meals for everyone!

We really appreciate helpers who can take initiative – if you see something that needs doing (like organizing the pantry!), go for it. Your help will give us time to focus on the kids, and we’re so grateful for that.

Come be part of our little team – cook, clean, organize, and enjoy life on the farm with us!
