Description
Hi. I live in a cortijo in Andalucía. I have dogs, cats and goats and always need someone to look after the place if I am not here, like: feeding the cats, watering the plants, letting the dogs out, etc.. We are a multicultural setting who are happy about giving advice about travelling, developing skills and learning new languages. Food preparation can be part of this, if required by the workaway.

Help
I would need the workaway to be here during my absence, making sure the animals are safe and fed. I am always within reach on WhatsApp, even if going abroad. The property has electricity, running water and wifi. You do not need to speak Spanish. I speak fluent English, French, Italian and Spanish.

I am a semi-retired language teacher who is happy to help informally or engage in structured lessons in English, French, Italian and Spanish. -
Accommodation
The cortijo is partly renovated and the living area has a kitchen/common room and two bedrooms. There is a large log burner to keep the house toasting hot in the winter and also to warm up the water for a camping shower. We also use composting toilets. There are other outbuildings and animal quarters. Meals can be prepared on request (vegetarian) or a camping stove can be provided if workaway enjoys cooking.

A car or bike is advisable due to short distance to nearest village (5kms). Other towns are reachable by bus but service is scarce (twice a day), i.e. Baza, Almería, Puerto Lumbreras.
