Description
I live on the wonderful island Bornholm / Denmark in the Baltic Sea, and I am a positive thinking woman who moved from Germany to Denmark about 35 years ago.
In many years I preferred living in communes, but since 30 years I live on my own small farm in the countryside and Bornholm. I have 2 horses, en bordercollie and 1 cats.
I was working as a farmer, teacher,and socialpadagog, but now I am retired and like meeting people from different countries and cultures.
My daughter lives now in Copenhagen with her family and spends sometimes holidays or weekends here, and I love to leave the Island in between to experience something different. I need somebody to help me with the animals, around the house and garden. Often I need somebody for house sitting. I do not take smokers.

I am from Germany, but I have lived many years in Denmark. On the island you can meet people from different nationalities. I know quite much about the social and political situation in Denmark, and you can visit many cultural interesting places on Bornholm. Is is easy to move around the island with buses and you can borrow bicycles on my place.
Help
Very often I need people for housesitting, and in the next months I need people to help with the garden, cutting hedhes, light painting , maybe making firewood, maybe taking care of the place when I am away for a couple of days.
I expect you to take part in making food - or make your ovn food - and Take Part in keeping the rooms we use together clean.
Normally you will help about 22 hours a week, but in the moment , and specifically when house sitting, you will help 1 - 2 hours a day - 6 days a week, and buy your own food
It is not allowed to smoke on my place at all, no misuse of alcohol and no use of other drugs

You will stay in my house wagon which has a stove and a very small kitchen. You will use bathroom bathroom with me and may also use my kitchen.

You can visit many cultural interesting places on Bornholm. Is is easy to move around the island with buses and you can borrow bicycles on my place. Hitchhiking - autostop - is also a good possibillity( the busses are expensiv) The Island is a quite save place.

Aline spendt 2 weeks in my home and we had a very nice and effektiv time. Aline took care af the animals, and it was nice to relax and to know that everything is ok. I really enjoyed my stay with Christina and the beautiful surroundings of Bornholm. We shared many meals and ice creams and it was a pleasure to share stories! The work was well balanced and we painted a tiny home, spent time decluttering and making fresh juice. Would definitely recommend this Workaway :)
