  We've been living in Martinique for a few years now. My husband is from Le Lamentin, and I'm from mainland France. We run a bed and breakfast in an old house with a garden and terraces. Last year, I had some minor health issues and wasn't able to tend to the garden as much as I'd like. I'm looking for a French-speaking, mature, or even retired person who is reliable and doesn't mind working in the sun, and who enjoys gardening and DIY tasks. They would help me get this lovely garden back in shape. Personally, I love gardening, cooking, and DIY tasks, and my husband and I try to use all the natural products we have, transforming them into juices, flour, vinegar, etc., and making delicious local dishes. The person will be an integral part of the family for the duration of their stay and might even go out with us. They will have a bedroom and share our bathroom. They will be able to use the kitchen and will eat their meals with us. I can't say any more...
  
  Nous vivons en Martinique depuis quelques années mon mari est originaire du Lamentin, moi de Métropole, nous avons une chambre d'hôtes dans une maison ancienne avec jardin et terrasses, l'année dernière j'ai eu quelques petits soucis de santé et je n'ai pas pu m'occuper de mon jardin et de ma maison comme je l'aurais voulu, j'aimerai trouver une personne QUI PARLE FRANCAIS( mauvaise en langues étrangères), homme où femme voire retraité(e) sérieux (se) qui n'a pas peur du travail au soleil, un peu de connaissances en jardin et bricolage, petits travaux ménagers, Ce sera surtout pour m'aider à remettre à jour ce joli jardin que j'aime tant ainsi que l'entretien de ma maison.
  Perso j'aime jardiner, cuisiner, bricoler, avec mon mari nous essayons d'utiliser tous les produits de mère nature et de transformer en jus ,farine, vinaigre etc....et faire de bons petits plats locaux, pour la famille et les hôtes, la personne fera partie intégrante de la famille pour la période qu'elle passera en notre compagnie (voire quelques sorties ensemble).
  Elle aura l'hébergement et les repas ainsi qu' une chambre, et partagera notre salle de bain. Elle pourra utiliser la cuisine prendre ses repas en notre compagnie où seule comme elle le souhaitera, je ne peux pas dire mieux.......

  This person who comes will be fed, housed and will participate in Antillean family life, and will be able to visit Martinique during their rest hours and days if they do not know it.
  
  Cette personne qui vient sera nourrit, logée et participera à la vie familiale antillaise, pourra si elle le souhaite visiter la Martinique durant ses heures et jours repos si elle ne connait pas et selon faire des sorties communes.

  Help

  I'm looking for someone who speaks French, as I'm not very good at foreign languages. I'd like a mature or even retired person who is serious and doesn't mind working in the sun. Someone with gardening, DIY, and painting skills would help me renovate my lovely garden and terraces. It would be more of a team effort to maintain and weed the flowerbeds, use a brush cutter or pressure washer if needed, prune some tree branches, and remove plant debris and grass clippings. If there's no other outdoor work, there could also be some small indoor tasks like preparing and painting ceilings and interior walls, perhaps with the intention of repainting or wallpapering some rooms. It's a bit of a shame not to be able to maintain my house as I usually do. This would also give them the opportunity to visit Martinique, if they haven't been, and to try some local food.
  
  j'aimerai trouver une personne QUI PARLE FRANCAIS, car je ne suis pas forte en langue étrangère, une personne homme où femme voire retraité(e) sérieuse et qui n'a pas peur de travailler au soleil, qui a des connaissances en jardinage et bricolage, peinture il où elle m'aidera à remettre à jour ce joli jardin ainsi que mes terrasses, ce serait plutôt une aide, un travail d'équipe pour entretenir et désherber les parterres, passer la débrousailleuse ou karcher si besoin , tailler quelques branches d'arbres si besoin ,débarrasser les végétaux et herbes coupées et selon si pas de travaux extérieurs ce pourrait être certains petits travaux intérieurs préparation et peinture de plafonds et murs intérieurs en vue refaire de la peinture où papier peint de certaines pièces, et cela me peine un peu de ne pas pouvoir entretenir ma maison comme je le fais habituellement. Et par la même cela lui permettra de visiter la Martinique, si elle ne connait pas et aussi de manger local.

  Room with a sofa bed, mosquito net window, ceiling fan, television, and Wi-Fi (this room was originally a guest room). Shared bathroom and toilet; guests can use the kitchen if they wish.
  
  The person will have meals prepared; they can eat them in our company or alone if they wish.
  
  chambre avec clic-clac, moustiquaire fenêtre, brasseur d'air , télévision , wifi (cette chambre est à l'origine une chambre d'amis). Salle de bain et wc partagés et pourra utiliser la cuisine si elle le souhaite.
  
  Je fournis les repas, la chambre s de b et w c, en compensation de quelques heures de travail pour m'aider.

  The house is located in the center of Martinique in a residential area of Lamentin, close to the airport, shopping center, etc. You can travel north and south; there are buses (not always on time) that pass near the house for Lamentin and Fort-de-France.
  
  La maison est située au centre de la Martinique dans un quartier pavillonnaire du Lamentin proche de l'aéroport, centre commercial etc...et vous pouvez vous déplacer au nord comme au sud, il y a des bus (pas toujours à l'heure). qui passent à proximité de la maison pour le lamentin et FDF.
