  I've been living in Martinique for a few years now. I'm married; my husband is from Le Lamentin. We live in an older house we rent, with a garden and two terraces. I had to have surgery on my right shoulder at the beginning of July. My husband is working, so I need occasional help for about a week each month, Monday to Friday (starting in October, November, December, and January 2027), to help me with garden maintenance. Tasks might include pruning shrubs, weeding flowerbeds, and repotting plants. This is while I regain full use of my shoulder, as the surgery currently prevents me from taking care of my garden as much as I'd like. Therefore, I'm looking for someone to help me for 2 to 3 hours in the morning (because of the heat and sun) during this period, and then free time until the following day. I need someone who speaks at least a little French, and who isn't coming for a vacation... because I need help. I'm looking for someone reliable, hardworking, and not afraid of hard work. Outdoor work in the sun, with a little gardening knowledge, would be helpful, and I'd also be happy to assist as much as I can.
  
  We are very friendly people, and personally, I enjoy gardening, cooking, and DIY projects. My husband and I try to use all the natural products we have and transform them into juice, flour, vinegar, etc., and make delicious local dishes, like any Caribbean person would, for family and guests.
  You will have accommodation and meals during your stay, as well as access to our bathroom and toilet, and you can use our kitchen if needed. In exchange, I only ask for a few hours of work in the mornings during those few days (Monday-Friday). I can't offer anything more than that... Calling all applicants, and thank you very much!

  Je vis en Martinique depuis quelques années, je suis mariée mon conjoint et originaire du Lamentin, nous vivons dans une maison ancienne que nous avons en location avec un jardin et 2 terrasses, j'ai dû subir une intervention de l'épaule droite début juillet, mon mari travaillant J'ai donc besoin d'une aide ponctuelle d'environ une semaine dans le mois du lundi au vendredi (à compter des mois d'octobre, novembre, décembre, Janvier 27 pour m'aider à l'entretien de mon jardin, selon ; tailles arbustes, désherbage parterres, rempotage, le temps de retrouver une autonomie de l'épaule, car cette intervention ne me permet pas pour le moment de m'occuper pleinement de mon jardin comme je l'aurais voulu, je recherche donc une personne pour m'aider 2 à 3 heures le matin (à cause de la chaleur et du soleil) durant cette période ensuite temps libre jusqu'au lendemain.
  Une personne qui parle un minimum le Français, qui ne vient pas pour des vacances... car j'ai besoin d' une aide, une personne sérieuse, courageuse et qui n'a pas peur du travail extérieur au soleil, avec un peu de connaissances en jardinage quand même, j'aiderais aussi dans la mesure de ma capacité à utiliser mon bras.
  Nous sommes des personnes très conviviales et perso j'aime jardiner, cuisiner, bricoler, avec mon mari nous essayons d'utiliser tous les produits de mère nature et de transformer en jus ,farine, vinaigre etc....et faire de bons petits plats locaux, comme tout Antillais pour la famille et les hôtes.
  Vous aurez l'hébergement et les repas lors de votre présence parmi nous, ainsi que le partage de notre salle de bain et wc , et vous pourrez utiliser notre cuisine si besoin, en échange je vous demande uniquement quelques heures de travail le matin durant ces quelques jours (lundi-vendredi) , je ne peux pas dire mieux....... avis aux candidats (tes) et surtout un grand merci à vous.

  The person who comes will be fed with local dishes, accommodated and can, if they wish, walk around and visit Martinique during their rest hours (there are buses nearby that go to Lamentin and Fort de France).

  It would be more of a team effort because I don't like to sit around doing nothing, to maintain and weed the flowerbeds, around the small shrubs (which I usually do) and in exchange this will allow this person to have free accommodation for these few days, to be able to visit the region in the afternoon if they wish and to eat some local dishes in our company.

  Ce serait plutôt un travail d'équipe car je n'aime pas rester à rien faire, pour entretenir et désherber les parterres, autour des arbustes petite taille arbustes (ce que je fais habituellement) et en échange cela permettra à cette personne d'avoir un hébergement gratuit durant ces quelques jours, de pouvoir visiter la région l'après-midi si elle le souhaite et de manger de petits plats locaux en notre compagnie.

  A room with a sofa bed, mosquito net window, ceiling fan, television, and Wi-Fi (this room was originally a guest room). The bathroom and toilet are shared with us, and she can use the kitchen if she wishes.

  Une chambre avec clic-clac, moustiquaire fenêtre, brasseur d'air , télévision , wifi (cette chambre est à l'origine une chambre d'amis). Salle de bain et wc partagés avec nous et pourra utiliser la cuisine si elle le souhaite.
  
  Je fournis les repas, la chambre s de b et w c, en compensation de quelques heures de travail pour m'aider.

  The house is located in the center of Martinique in a residential area of ​​Lamentin near the airport, shopping center etc...and you can travel north as well as south, there are buses (not always on time....that pass near the house for Lamentin and FDF 342 and 421 and if you have a vehicle there is no problem for the vehicle it can be parked in front of the house.

  La maison est située au centre de la Martinique dans un quartier pavillonnaire du Lamentin proche de l'aéroport, centre commercial etc...et vous pouvez vous déplacer au nord comme au sud, il y a des bus (pas toujours à l'heure....qui passent à proximité de la maison pour le Lamentin et FDF 342 et 421 et si vous êtes véhiculé il n'y a pas de soucis pour le véhicule il peu être garé sur le chemin devant la maison.
