  Description

  I live with my little boy, 2 very friendly dogs and a cat in Benajarafe, a very small village on the coast of Malaga. We are a 10 minute walk from the beach with a bus connection to nearby towns. It is a peaceful area, perfect for somebody looking to disconnect from city life. This opportunity would suit an independent person who would be happy living with a sometimes noisy two year old but also enjoys their own space and doing their own thing!

  This is a lovely side of Malaga to visit, still unspoilt by tourism but close enough to the city to visit or to reach other areas of Andalucía. We speak mainly English at home.

  Help

  I am a single mum, working full time remotely so extra help round the house is what I need most, such as walking the dogs, cooking, helping with some cleaning, painting or other DIY.

  I am English and tend to speak English at home with my son, however he is learning both and speaks a confusing mix! I am happy to speak Spanish with someone who wants to practice though

  Accommodation

  I have a spare room downstairs, usually used as an office but is available for guests or workawayers. There is a shower room next to it. I would ask Workawayers to buy their own food as the help needed will be 15 hours a week but you can share in any bigger cooked meals we make too. Ideally I am looking for short term help, around two weeks for each workaway stay.

  What else ...

  We have quite a quiet lifestyle so this is ideal for somebody that wants to disconnect and enjoy nature and slow living. You will have many hours off to do your own thing as well as 2 days a week to go and visit other areas. There is a limited daily bus service to Malaga city centre.
