    Description

We are a family of four living in the beautiful north of Madrid, close to the sierra. We love hiking, spending time outdoors, enjoying nature, meeting friends, listening to music, and, above all, sharing good moments with people.

We live in a house with a swimming pool and a vegetable garden, and we love cooking. Weekends at our home often mean barbecues, homemade paellas, and long meals with family and friends. We enjoy welcoming people into our home and sharing our culture, traditions, and everyday life.

We have two children, who both are trying to speak English. We believe that cultural exchange is one of the greatest experiences for children, and we would love them to learn about your country, language, and customs while sharing ours with you.

We are looking for someone to help to improve the English of our kids for a few weeks/days during the summer. Patience & Love needed as one of them is just 6 :) In return, we hope you’ll feel like part of our family, enjoy life in the Spanish countryside, and create wonderful memories together.

we would love to share our Spanish lifestyle with you. You can experience everyday family life, practise your Spanish if you like, and enjoy our local traditions and cuisine. We love cooking and would be happy to teach you how to make some of our favourite Spanish dishes including family recipes.

Our home is a social place. We often spend weekends with friends and family, having barbecues, sharing meals by the pool, or going for walks in the mountains nearby (unless a heatwave is over us ;) )If you enjoy nature, good food, and spending time with people, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to join us and experience authentic life in Spain.

We hope that by the end of your stay, you’ll leave not only with improved language skills and great memories, but also feeling that you’ve become part of our family.

We are looking for someone to spend time with our two children during a few weeks/days in the summer. The main role is to play with them in the mornings and do fun activities, speak English with them, and help keep them entertained while we are working or taking care of other things around the house.

We don’t expect you to do any housework. We only ask that you help keep the children’s areas tidy after playing.

We see this as a true cultural exchange rather than simply childcare. We would love to share our language, traditions, food, and lifestyle with you, and we hope you will share yours with us. Our children already speak a bit of English (one of them is able to conversate) so this is a great opportunity for them to keep practising while learning about another culture.

You will be part of our family life. We enjoy cooking together, eating outside, having barbecues and homemade paellas with friends on weekends, going hiking in the nearby mountains, and relaxing by the pool during the summer. If you enjoy spending time with children, nature, good food, and family life, we think you will feel at home with us.
