Description
Hello! My name is Michele, I’m 24 years old and I live with my parents in a detached house in the countryside, in a small contrada (a little cluster of houses) on the hills near the city of Schio. It’s a beautiful area surrounded by greenery: where the garden ends, the forest begins. There’s also a creek with small waterfalls nearby, which makes the place very peaceful.
It takes about 15 minutes by car to reach the city center, and I’ll be happy to drive you if needed. From the train station you can easily reach Venice (1h 28), Padua (1h 11), and Verona. Close to the city there are two mountains (around 1500 meters high).
I decided to become a Workaway host because I have a big project for the garden around my house.
But that’s not the only reason. I did a travel with workaway, and I went for exchange in Norway, I miss these experiences and i would like to live with international people again.

Near my home, there is a stream with small waterfalls and several walking paths. In the mountains around Schio, there are beautiful trails to explore, and if needed, we can organize trips by car to visit nearby mountain locations, such as the Pasubio mountain range.
Schio also has a lively cultural life, with exhibitions, theatre performances, and events throughout the year. You can check out upcoming events here: . I enjoy attending these events, and we can go together if you like.
I study communication and media, and I am passionate about theatre, art, cinema, social media. I love to convesate about this or anything.
Help
I would like to plant many ornamental plants in different areas, and make a vegetable garden.
So the manly activities will be: work an fertilize the soil, dig holes to plant the plants, remove weeds, care the plants already in place. We will usually work together. I have an high school degree in agriculture, I can teach you everything I know about plants and cultivation. I might also ask you some general help around the house with cleanings.

A single room, bathroom shared with me. I usually cook for averyone, but if you like to cook im very curious about your food colture.
