  Hello hello,
  
  We are at this moment a roommate of 4 friends, composed of Lucas, 30 years old, cabinetmaker in construction of his workshop, in couple with Tesch, 33 years old, the farmer, weeder, herbalist, nurseryman of the place, Joris, 29 years old, earth mason who builds the said workshop of Lucas, Tifenn, 35 years old, actress and carriage driver (one of her many activities is the famous carriage rides she offers in the village), and Chola, the singing dog of the house, and of course chickens, geese, sheep, and others who prefer to remain anonymous.
  We have taken over a micro-farm with some infrastructure and an orchard and want to convert it to our taste. We produce a good part of our fruits and vegetables in autonomy.

  Nous sommes a ce moment une colocation de 4 amis, composée de Lucas, 30 ans, ébéniste en construction de son atelier, en couple avec Tesch, 33 ans, la paysanne, désherbeuse, herboriste, pépiniériste du lieu, Joris, 29 ans, maçon terre qui construit le dit atelier de Lucas, Tifenn, 35 ans, comédienne et meneuse d'attelage (une de ses nombreuses activités sont les fameuses balades en calèche qu'elle propose dans le village), et Chola, la chienne chanteuse de la maison, et bien évidemment des poules, des oies, des moutons, et d'autres qui préfèrent rester anonymes.
  Nous avons repris une micro-ferme avec certaines infrastructures et un verger et souhaitons la convertir a notre gout. On produit une bonne partie de nos fruits et légumes en autonomie.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  Before our current project, Lucas and Tesch did everything else, left everything and traveled for 2 years in Latin America as wwoofers/workawayer and then as host in the Peruvian jungle. Those 2 years taught us a lot of things as you can imagine, we became self-taught on many levels. In particular, Lucas for the work of wood and Tesch for the plants. And Joris is very well versed in everything that concerns construction (architectural studies) and earthen materials (training in ancient masonry), it seems that he is a bit in love with her. Tifenn is an acrobat of many things, a showgirl, an actress in movies, a festival organizer, and all her peasant side in the work with horses... So there you have it, a lot of stuff to share with you if you are interested.
  
  Avant notre projet actuel, Lucas et Tesch ont fait tout autre chose, tout quitté et voyagé pendant 2 ans en Amérique Latine en tant que wwoofers/workawayer et ensuite comme host dans la jungle péruvienne. Ces 2 ans nous ont appris pas mal de choses comme vous pouvez l'imaginer, on est devenu autodidactes sur plein de niveaux a force. Notamment, Lucas pour le travail du bois et Tesch pour les plantes. Et Joris est hyper calé sur tout ce qui concerne la construction (études d'architecture) et le matériel terre (formation en maçonnerie ancienne), on dirait qu'il est un peu amoureux d'elle. Tifenn est une acrobate de plein de choses, intermittente de spectacle, actrice dans des films, organisatrice des festivals, et tout son coté paysan dans le travail avec les chevaux de traction... Donc voila, déjà pas mal de trucs a partager avec vous si ca vous intéresse.

  Help

  And yes, the said workshop is in full growth. We're coming up on the frame. So we're looking for people to help with that, the 6000 and some shingles, cob, plaster, and all that follows. Experience in the field is welcome but not required. We do everything by hand and use as little modern machinery as possible.
  
  Our days are full, we work between 7 and 8 hours a day. After breakfast, each one leaves for his respective or common work site (according to the necessity of the moment). Between noon and 2 or 3 pm is the break: we eat, we discuss, we read, we nap, and then, we continue until the evening meal time. We always eat together, it is our family time. We are not all vegetarians but most of the time we eat without meat. No worries if you have special dietary needs, just let us know.
  
  Et oui, le dit atelier est en pleine pousse. On arrive sur la charpente. Donc on cherche du monde pour aider avec ca, les 6000 et quelques bardeaux, torchis, enduit, et tout ce qui suit. Expérience dans le domaine bienvenu mais pas obligatoire. On fait tout a la main et on se sert le moins possible des machines modernes.
  
  Nos journées sont bien remplies, on bosse entre 7 et 8 heures par jour. Apres le petit déjeuner, chacun part sur son chantier respectif ou commun (selon la nécessité du moment). Entre midi et 14/15h c'est la pause : on mange, on discute, on bouquine, on sieste, et ensuite, on continue jusqu'à l'heure du repas du soir. On mange toujours tous ensemble, c'est notre moment en famille. On n'est pas tous végétariens mais la plus part du temps on mange sans viande. Pas de soucis si t'as des besoins alimentaires particuliers, il faut juste nous prévenir.

  Accommodation

  You will have the whole attic at your disposal in peace. It will be possible that you will share it with another volunteer if we have more requests but we try to arrange so that everyone can have their privacy. Otherwise, you can also put your tent or your truck where you want on the ground. The toilets are outside and dry, the shower inside and wet-hot. Bring your work boots and/or shoes, work clothes and gloves if possible. As a little info aside: we use modern technology like everyone else, but we like laptops and computers to stay away from shared spaces like the kitchen and living room. For us, these are places for sharing. No problem to withdraw to make calls, write messages, send photos etc. but not when you have a human in front of you.
  
  Tu auras tout le grenier a ta disposition au calme. Il sera possible que tu le partageras avec un autre bénévole si on aura plus de demandes mais on essaye de s'arranger pour que tout le monde puisse avoir son intimité. Sinon, tu peux aussi poser ta tente ou ton camion ou tu veux sur le terrain. Les toilettes sont dehors et sèches, la douche a l'intérieur et mouillée-chaude. Amène tes bottes et/ou chaussures de travail, vêtements de travail et gants si possible.
  
  Comme petite info a part : on se sert de la technologie moderne comme tout le monde ajd mais on aime bien que les portables et ordinateurs restent loin des espaces partagés comme la cuisine et le salon. Pour nous, c'est des endroits qui servent au partage. Pas de problème de se retirer pour faire des appels, écrire des message, envoyer des photos etc. mais pas quand t'as un humain en face de toi.

  What else ...

  Apart from our place of living, we keep ourselves busy with events in the area or at home. The Monts d'Arrée are very lively with concerts, shows of all kinds and festnoz of course and we like to add our touch. We like to share our meals with friends and have fun, so there are often people at home.
  Otherwise, we are 10 minutes by car/30 minutes by bike from Huelgoat, the nearest village with services. The rest is woods, slopes, fields, rivers. Lots of walks to do. If you can be autonomous by car it's the best but in emergency, we can help you.
  
  A part de notre lieu de vie, on s'occupe pas mal avec des évènements dans le coin ou chez nous. Les monts d'Arrée sont bien mouvementées avec des concerts, spectacles de toutes sortes et les festnoz bien entendu et on aime bien y ajouter notre touche. On aime bien partager nos repas avec des amis et nous amuser, du coup il y a souvent du monde a la maison.
  Sinon, on est a 10 minutes en voiture/30 minutes a vélo de Huelgoat, le village avec service le plus proche. Le reste c'est des bois, des talus, des champs, des rivières. Plein de balades a faire. Si tu peux être autonome en véhicule c'est le top mais en urgence, on peut te dépanner.
