    Description

I run an animal rescue in a village in the foothills of the Himalayas. I have 50 rescued dogs and 14 cats at present. A few are special needs, a few senior abandoned pets and the rest are healthy females who never got adopted bcz of their gender. All these animals live all over our home. I also have a small sterilisation center on my property where visiting vets from nearby cities perform spay and neuter surgeries for street and community animals, as well as pets from low income village homes. I also rescue any animal in the vicinity and try and vaccinate any new pups we find. I try and live a simple life and provide the best care to the animals with me. My place is in a valley next to a little stream and it's away from the main village.

Visitors will be able to get a glimpse of how I provide care to multiple animals in the absence of veterinary services. You will experience holistic healing and non coersive training methods that I use for the well being of my animals. We may go for rescues and we may also prepare and work with visiting vets to get animals sterilised during your time here.

  • Help

    Help

I am looking for someone to come and stay with me and help with the daily grooming, walking, and feeding of the animals. Apart from this I am in the process of making my tiny home more comfortable for my animals so a bit of painting, upholstering cat furniture, repairing dog beds etc. A bit of help with gardening will also be great.
