    We are part of a network of language and water sports centres in Galicia, Spain. Our camps aim to teach students a new language (English or Spanish) while learning different sports and natural values.

    We create an international environment with students and monitors from various countries. In addition to water sports, we teach about ecology, meteorology and care for the environment. In our centres we look for an international, serious and active atmosphere.

    Our main centre in Playa del Vao is located on a beautiful beach in a small fishing community very close to the city of Vigo.

    We are looking for candidates with experience and qualifications in watersports ( windsurfing, catamaran (hobiecat), wingfoil, paddle surf, fishing etc) and summer camps. Candidates will need to speak English and a little Spanish.

    We are part of a network of language and water sports centers in Galicia, Spain. We are looking for people for the following paid positions:

    Catamaran instructor

    Responsibilities:
    Provide a safe and fun experience for kids in the summer camp
    Provide the rental service of catamarans in the afternoons

    Requirements:
    Relevant sailing qualification (RYA, VDWS etc)
    Experience working as an instructor in summer camps or sailing schools
    Permission to work in Spain (EU resident)

    Preferred qualifications and experience:
    Experience of Hobie Wave and Fox
    Other watersport experience (windsurf, wing foil, paddle board, snorkel, fishing etc)


    Equipment coordinator

    Responsibilities:
    Ensure all sailing equipment is in top conditions, stored and organized
    Carry out repairs on any damaged material

    Requirements:
    Experience of boat repair (epoxy resin, sail repair etc)
    Knowledge of proper tool use
    Knowledge of motorboat engine repair
    Permission to work in Spain (EU resident)

    Preferred qualifications and experience:
    Specific knowledge and experience of Hobie Wave and Fox
    Experience of working in a similar environment (summer camp or sailing school)


    Safety boat driver

    Responsibilities:
    Ensure a safe environment for all kids and rental customers while they are the water

    Requirements:
    Boat license (RYA level 2 minimum)
    First aid qualification
    Experience in the field
    Permission to work in Spain (EU resident)

    Preferred qualifications and experience:
    Lifeguard qualification

    Responsibilities:
    Provide a safe and fun camp experience for kids

    Jobs are paid positions with the salary conditions to be determined according to experience and qualifications during the recruitment process.

    We also have volunteer positions (room and board provided) for:

    Responsibilities:
    Take photos and videos during the camp to create social media content and to send to parents

    For all positions we look for candidates that demonstrate enthusiasm, initiative and a strong work ethic.

    Paid positions we require a 1 month minimum stay with a strong preference for people that can commit to 2 months. Volunteer positions have a 2 week minimum stay.

    We can provide shared accommodation with a maximum of 6 people per room. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided Monday to Friday (and weekends during overnight camps) Access to basic kitchen appliances (fridge, microwave etc) and utensils also provided to allow monitors to prepare food at weekends outside of overnight camps.

    Workers can spend their free time on the beach, get to know other workers, or explore the coastline. Use of our equipment (catamarans, paddle boards, windsurf, wing foil etc) is permitted as long as it is used in a responsible way.

    The peninsula where we are located has a very rich history: Celtics, Romans, pirates, vikings etc. There are some nearby landmarks built by the Celts and the Romans. There is also a great fishing tradition and you can see the Galician artisanal fishing fleets every morning and afternoon.

    You can also take the bus or train to visit Santiago de Compostela, one of the most historic cities in Spain and the destination of the famous Camino de Santiago.
